Zomtober Entry no 4

My third and final Zomtober entry having missed last weeks target and not getting anything done.
This is the stripped, changed and re-painted Oakley from Hasslefree Miniatures or Ash from The Evil Dead movies. Removed his axe and the leather holster for his shotgun and added the chainsaw hand. Re-painted in the traditional colours.

Previous miniature can be found here.

Well tomorrow is my Birthday and what better present my EotD Kickstarter pledge is due to arrive! Naturally pics will be taken of the grand box opening and the miniature awesomeness contained within.

  6. Happy Birthday for tomorrow. I hope the EOTD turns up on time, and that you get loads of other exciting stuff as well.

Nice work on the figure I like the changes to the weapons and think he would have a good chance of survival in most of the games I have ever ran.

  10. That is a great conversion - looks just like the Jawed one. Best, Dean

    1. Thanks Dean. Its not converted in that sense he comes as a kit with a hand holding an axe, a chainsaw hand and then a choice of a holster for the shotgun or a katana in its scabbard.

  12. Nice work on Oakley, Simon. It must take some guts to strip a previous paint job (although some people recommend dettol), but you've certainly done him justice.

Happy birthday for tommorow, by the way.

  13. Very cool. The Evil Dead films were a feature of my teenage years. The chainsaw is great, where did you pick it up from?.

  15. Merry Christmas! Or so it will feel when you open your EotD KS package. I like him much better in the traditional colors with the chainsaw hand. It must have been a tough call to re-do him.
