Khurasan Space Demon's Completed

Got the Drones and Queen based and have varnished them in a Satin varnish its very subtle and you can't really see it in the pics but they do have a slight sheen to them. Theres 12 more to start on but I want a break from doing army size amounts of figures.

Thinking of doing some more fantasy themed figure this week as a good friend of mine Doctor Warlock sent me a spare copy of In Her Majesty's Name and a bunch of  figures mostly various breeds of dog and a classic Troll!

My first pack of Predators (Yautja) are done as well. I entered them in the Titanium Dropship Competition over at the Dropship Horizon blog. I shall post up the pics of my entry once its all been judged and what not. There was no rules against it but I decided to wait anyway :)

    1. They are really nice Clint. They come in different themed packs with separate heads so check which heads come with which bodies.

  2. That's a scary-looking bunch of figures, Simon. I wouldn't want to face them.

    1. Thanks Terrain comes next. Then need to make my mind up on rules for them. I have several in mind and a few beer and pretzel type rulesets I can use with them.

  7. Great PJ! It really doesn't show, but I think satin was the way to - the golden middle between matt and glossy.
And I just have to comment on the background again, it's really working well.

    1. Thanks mate. Yeah you can see it better in the flesh they have a sheen but not overpowered by using standard gloss.

  11. I just bought a pile of those last week. I like the look of yours. I'm thinking of a dark blue paint for mine - very dark. I will probably also finish them in satin, or possibly gloss for that slimy look. Thanks for the inspiration!
