Crooked Dice Femdroids (Classic)

Well tomorrow is my first gaming event since January 2020 its a 7TV day being hosted by Board in Brum at their new premises. Its a great little venue all on one level now with the shop at the front and a vast gaming area out back. So far 12 people have confirmed they are coming and we will be divided into groups of 6 who we will play amongst across the 3 games during the day. I am very much looking forward to playing some 7TV as haven't touched it since I did the Fantasy Playtesting last year with my daughters.

The day is themed around Dr Ulysses Argo and his mechanical Argonauts taking over the world. We all created our casts and let the organiser Mike know what we were bringing so he could match up equal numbers of villainous and heroic casts to face off against each other. With a large number of Heroic casts coming I was happy to change my cast up to a villainous one. So my Octopussy cast will get an outing another time.

I don't have the Argonauts programme guide yet so created my Villainous cast using the core spyfi rules. Looking through my unpainted pile I found a bunch of Femdroids that I bought such a long time ago I forget when and wear from! I had cleaned them up and primed them alongside a bunch of other items a few years back at least as they were primed grey which I haven't used for ages as I can't get it at my local hobby store anymore and have been using white.

So since morning Sunday I have been furiously painting them all as a batch (I only need two for my cast though) and these are the results. I am quite pleased with how they turned out and actually how much of a pleasure they were to do. I still do love these Austin Power inspired sculpts. Though I must admit the new ones are gorgeous models which I may get and use for something else (Probably Dare Devil Troopers).

  5. Great work Simon! Have fun with them at the game event. We are still not able to have those group gatherings here in Alberta yet, though we just moved to stage 2 today so theatres, casino's etc are now open with limitations. Soon!

    1. Thanks Terry. We are still sort of limited on numbers and how we mix. So on the day we were split into groups of 6 people and then you could only amongst that group.

    1. Thanks Ivor. Its funny you mention that people seem to prefer these over the newer versions. Though I must admit I have other intentions for the new ones when I do get around to picking them up.
