I think its needs something around the join between the wall and roof might need to add some card to bridge the gap. The mark II cottages below will be white and one piece.
Heres my First Gentlemen, armed with a Sword, Revolver and Crucifix. The base is sculpted from milliput into cobblestones. The second one is nearly finished and my bases have arrived so I can start on the rest of the party.
Zombie wise the new ones plus a shot of the horde so far. They are going to be based pretty simliar to my modern/7TV stuff as I can then use them for all 4 projects.
I really like how you painted that gentleman! The zombies are good to, as are the houses!

A simple solution for your roofs is to add overlapping strips of card. If you scribe the card using a ballpoint pen nib or a small screwdriver with vertical lines before gluing in place it will look like a tiled roof. Of course you could cut out each tile individually, but why make so much work for yourself? I agree that the eaves of the roof need something adding. Card as you suggested ought to work fine. Looking good so far, Simon.
ReplyDeleteLooking good. I like your gentleman and zeds a lot. I agree with Vampifan. Cardboard strips for the roof work well. I always end up cutting mine into individual pieces, though, because I'm a little nuts. :)
ReplyDeleteReally like that Gentleman. Are you having your club as a stock build or going to affiliate it at all?
ReplyDeleteYou've done a good job there Brummie...
ReplyDeleteWell I like it!
ReplyDeleteLooking good and the zombies keep spreading the virus it seems!!!
That gentleman is reeeaaaallly cool! Well done!
Cheers I'm thinking that it won't be a widespread plague at the moment. Not quite decided on the cause yet.
DeleteLoving the look of this mate, great work on the zeds and characters. I picked up some of those zombies at Salute and really must have a go at putting them together soon.
ReplyDeleteCheers. They are good fun and easy to build just be wary of removing the legs as they are hard work to get off the sprue.
Delete@Carl whose post for some reason isn't showing up?
ReplyDeleteNot yet I haven't decided on where to go until I've read the rules and worked the options
Nice! Excellent work on that cobblestone base and painting!! As for the roofs, I agree with Vampifan. Cardboard strips for tiles, and overlap them. The just paint or draw tile lines on :)
ReplyDeleteTop work Brum!
ReplyDeleteLooking good dude!
ReplyDeleteProgressing nicely. Looking forward to seeing them in action. Keep up the good work.
