Alpha Squad Dusty

Dusty is another firm favourite. I always wanted the action figure as kid but never got him. I considered trying to convert him to carry the Famas that the action figure comes with but I would had to of purchased some modern French and done some serious chopping to get a decent looking one. So decided to stick with M16 he comes with :)

Tried to keep him as close to the comic artwork as I could. This is my tenth Joe and finish's off the first two packs.

Next up I am working on my Cobra Infantry these are taking a bit longer as I have 15 to do. I am painting them all in one batch and they are all now basecoated and shading washes as I write this post. Next up lots of highlighting!



Dusty is the fifth and final member of this set.

    Terrific addition to an awesomely impressive "G.I. Joe" force, Simon. I especially like the group shot. Do you have enough for a game against PulpCitizen yet?

      Thanks mate. We have plenty of Joes and leadership for the Cobra to get some small games in. I just need to get some troopers done and we can start trying it out.

    A variety of uniforms and a bigger variety of camouflage patterns. Makes me wonder just where they are going to fight!

    Nice addition though, I am always happy to seem more of your painting.

      Thanks Clint. Anywhere and Anytime :D This is what made the comics and cartoons so great as kids it had something for every boy/girl to find and like in it.

      Thanks mate. I am still looking. Its a bit tricky as the Crooked Dice Attack dog A is perfect size but would need to file down the colour and GS over it. I am still looking for potential off the shelf options at the minute.

      Cheers I am glad it turned out well. I enjoyed it immensely mainly as I don't normally do this sort of colour scheme.

    Dusty was always a dependable fellow in the Action Force comics. Your paint job seems spot-on if memory serves, very well done mate.
