7TV Yakuza

I decided that these don't really fit the Zombie Apocalypse genre though they might be useful if I ever get round to playing ATZ as perhaps a gang or something. So instead I think they might be more useful as a criminal cast. They certainly need some kind of mastermind to lead them I need to have a think about it and find a suitable miniature or perhaps the other way round maybe.

As shown previously the first band of Yakuza I did a few years ago have been spruced up and fixed a few faults here and there now I'm a bit more experienced and steady handed :-D The tattoos I'm still not sure about they are better I think than before but still need something that I can't quite put my finger on or lack the skill to do at present.

The Group as a whole.

The new Additions (well been in the leadpile a while)
I think I'll take more pics when the light is better outside.
The new Tattoos Front

The Tattoos rear

The tattoos on his chest and stomach

Snake coiled round her leg. (Stole this idea off a guy called Tom on facebook his was much better thoough)

  2. I've got a whole load of tattoos to paint for my "Hordes of the Things" barbarian army - it's been putting me off finishing them for a long time! However, I note that Hasslefree are selling tattoo decals and (more interestingly) are asking for input on what types to do next.

As for your Yakuza mastermind, I vote for a small, elderly man, well dressed and ascetic.

Yeah I think it will be an Elderly man but need to find a suitable model that takes my fancy.

  3. I think the tats look fine Simon, they add personality to the sculpts.

And the babe with the short skirt has some serious attitude.

    1. Thanks Anne Yeah the babe was an after thought I picked them up for just because they like them and I saw someone do a similar figure with z tattoo down her leg. So robbed the idea

  6. What a fearsome looking group. I like what you have done I think they look very intimidating and very Yakuza like.

I agree about the diminutive mob boss a man who has got his place through shrewdness and not brute strength would in my opinion be most fitting.

  12. They look great as a unit. And the tattoos are really well done. I understand not achieving what we picture in our mind though. That happens to me every time I paint!

  14. The ink on the figures looks good imo and as for a boss for this lot have a look at the Reaper Hong Kong detective (not Charlie Chan at all).
