Jonti Frandsen Dwarf Fighter

Jonti Frandsen Dwarf fighter a part of the inner core of the Fists of Iron adventuring company. Equipped with his trusty two handed hammer called 'Elf Grudge' named so after a long war with the evil cave dwelling Drow this ancient weapon has been handed down father to son.

Jonti can always be found in the thick of the fighting during the Fists of Irons adventures. Jonti enjoys the simple roaming life of an adventurer and loves only two things, crushing skulls with his hammer and the other is mead! the latter usually leading to the former.

The name may well be familiar to some! I purchased some Stonehaven Dwarfs from Lord Siwoc from Brains and Guts recently and he very kindly added this little fella into the package! Big thanks as I had been looking at this range from Hasslefree as well to start a SOBH Dwarf warband I think he fits in well size wise with the rest of the Fists. So in honour of the gift now Lord Siwoc (Johnny Frandsen) is now immortalised in miniature and an honourable member of the Fists of Iron as Jonti Frandsen! Enjoy the pics

  1. An excellent addition to the cast and crew. He fits in well with the rest and I like the little bit of back story.
I have never really understood Mead. Adding honey to good ale does not make it better ale! Adding Bad ale to Honey does not make better honey! So what's the point?

  2. Thanks, I can honestly say I haven't actually tried proper mead so can't comment. Johnny loves brewing his own though and fairplay!

  3. That's a very nice-looking model, isn't it. I hope he adds some real oomph to the group. After their first outing, they seem to need it!

  10. Cool model and I like a little story to personalise the chaps. The natural light you use for your pictures is a real winner. Got to do that... If only I painted in the day!

  12. Looking good, a true Viking!

And mead is a drink of the gods, so it can't be too bad!

  13. Not sure what to say that hasn't already been said. Nice work.

Stay away from the mead. The next thing you know you'll be larping every weekend or dressing up as a viking on a Tuesday night.

    1. I don't think blogger updated blog rolls as it was still showing the previous post on some peoples blogs!

Cheers mate, At the minute Theres an undead force in use. EotD Vampire and bats and Mantic zombies.

I have an evil themed adventure force in the works as well sort of a thieves/rogues type assortment. Still working on the figures for it at the moment the otherworld Half Orcs will form the main part of that group.
