Empire of The Dead Size Comparison Pictures.

Some of the comments on my previous post got me thinking that there aren't many pictures showing how big some of the Gents and Jackanapes are in comparison to the other figures and some may think that £7.00 is to much for a single figure. Not having done much hobbywise this weekend decided to take some size pictures to show you all what you get for £7.00 now I don't have all the G&J's but they apart from Holmes and Watson all similiar in size even Lady Luck is quite a large figure with her rifle, cape and feathered hat.

All Westwind Empire apart from the second from left which is Wolsung.

You can see how big Cedric and The Apeman really are here.
Thw Wolsung Ogre being used as a Dredger type character.
All the big guys with littles inbetween.
This one show just how chunky Cedric and the Apeman are and why they are £7.00

Hopefully I'll have another few figures done this week depending on how busy work is etc. Fingers crossed!

  6. Lovely work on these figures. One thing I love about EotD is how colourful it all looks, and this lot really showcases the variety. Nice one :-)

    1. Its my first delve into this sort of time period and I'm really enjoying it. Reading all the classic books like 'The Invisible man' and various steampunk books.

  8. These photos give people a good idea on how varied EotD can be with the official figures not to mention all the figures from other companies you can toss in at will.

    1. I had though of taking some pics of the Lycaons but they are the only other figures that are bigger than the other normal humans.

    2. Comparisons of the West Wind wolves and werewolves with other manufacturers would be in order.

  9. They are true 25mm aren't they. I have some lead adventure guys and they are just that much bigger than the Westwind guys. G&J are different of course but the normal guys do look a little small with other 28mm models.

    1. I'd say they are true 28mm. True 25mm are quite smaller than 28mm. The Lead Adventure figures are probabl 28mm Heroic which is closer to 32mm bit like the variation with Reaper miniatures.

  13. I like the idea of comparison photographs like these and find them very useful.
Some sort of real-life scale/ruler alongside the figures would also be useful.

    1. I'll try that next time. This was more for folks who want the special characters but couldn't understand the price.
