Zomtober Week 4

Well managed to squeeze in some time to paint some figures this week for Zomtober as well as get a game in of 7TV2e with Pulp Citizen on Tuesday night.

I'd hope to make a dent in my Zombie and Survivor pile from the Studio miniatures Z Clipz kickstarter this Zomtober but alas some events have curbed that slightly. I managed to finish of a survivor and her zombified version. So managed three themed figures for Zomtober including my crawler from week 1.

Though I've just noticed a spodge of brown paint!!!! Dammit!

  1. You may not have got as much done as you hoped Simon, but what you did do looks great and on the plus side you still have lots of lovely miniatures to look forward to.

  2. I continue to regret missing the Studio miniatures Z Clipz kickstarter Simon, and your great paint-jobs on this posting hasn't helped at all ;-) Nice work on a couple of interesting sculpts and good to see your Zomtober output making some headway into your lead mountain.

    1. Thanks dude yeah it has been a difficult couple of months with all the upheaval at work and other things in real life. It has been a good week and feeling a lot more positive 7TV2e has got me fired up hobby wise so expect a lot of spyfi and other random stuff in the coming months.

  4. Nice work Simon. Quality over quantity is always the best way. Especially when battling against real life's tidal forces.

  7. Don't you just love that errant bit of paint that remains unseen until after the photos are snapped? I've been there too, friend.

Great looking paint, Simon. Especially like the crawler.

Also like the shot of the Brummie-closet up top. Do you really need two umbrellas though? ;)

  13. Still counts as progress, though - doesn't it :-) ?

With me, it's not usually errant paint spots that slip through, though I have occasionally noticed some detail on a "completed" model which is still in the undercoat colour!

  15. Nice work on these. Anything marked off as done is a win in my book. I had a lot more I wanted to do but such is life. Is this it for Zombtober, or are we stretching it one more week to November 1?
