Well managed to squeeze in some time to paint some figures this week for Zomtober as well as get a game in of 7TV2e with Pulp Citizen on Tuesday night.
I'd hope to make a dent in my Zombie and Survivor pile from the Studio miniatures Z Clipz kickstarter this Zomtober but alas some events have curbed that slightly. I managed to finish of a survivor and her zombified version. So managed three themed figures for Zomtober including my crawler from week 1.

Though I've just noticed a spodge of brown paint!!!! Dammit!
You may not have got as much done as you hoped Simon, but what you did do looks great and on the plus side you still have lots of lovely miniatures to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteCheers Michael yes indeed I shall get around to them at some point :)
DeleteI continue to regret missing the Studio miniatures Z Clipz kickstarter Simon, and your great paint-jobs on this posting hasn't helped at all ;-) Nice work on a couple of interesting sculpts and good to see your Zomtober output making some headway into your lead mountain.
ReplyDeleteIts life sometimes so many kickstarters I've missed just because of bad timing with cashflow timing. Thanks very much there is some nice sculpts amongst it they'll all be available to buy soon I think some have started to appear on the website.
DeleteGreat to see these done mate. :)
ReplyDeleteI think they look superb. :)
Something of a positive ending to a very difficult month. :)
Thanks dude yeah it has been a difficult couple of months with all the upheaval at work and other things in real life. It has been a good week and feeling a lot more positive 7TV2e has got me fired up hobby wise so expect a lot of spyfi and other random stuff in the coming months.
DeleteNice work Simon. Quality over quantity is always the best way. Especially when battling against real life's tidal forces.
ReplyDeleteThanks mate thats very true sometimes!
Deletethat second one is scary! And I want those shoes from your headwardrobe, and you can take the guns :)
ReplyDeleteAlways Oxfords never Brogues
DeleteLovely work sir. I think they look great!
ReplyDeleteThanks fella :)
DeleteDon't you just love that errant bit of paint that remains unseen until after the photos are snapped? I've been there too, friend.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking paint, Simon. Especially like the crawler.
Also like the shot of the Brummie-closet up top. Do you really need two umbrellas though? ;)
Thanks dude yeah tell me about it. It has been erased now. The Umbrella is the best weapon there!
DeleteGood work mate especially with the difficult month!
ReplyDeleteThanks Fran :)
DeleteI really like the survivor she is understated well done. And her zombie version really makes this post.
ReplyDeleteCheers very much Robert. Understated as a character?
DeleteExcellent! Love the crawler especially.
ReplyDeleteCheers dude!
DeleteI am interested in your thoughts on 7TVed2. A tough month for you but you have handled it well.
ReplyDeleteThanks Clint. Funnily enough look out for Wednesday's post its pretty much all about 7TV2e
DeleteProgress is still progress mate! And they are looking good!
ReplyDeleteCheers Bro! Yes indeed progress is progress!
DeleteStill counts as progress, though - doesn't it :-) ?
ReplyDeleteWith me, it's not usually errant paint spots that slip through, though I have occasionally noticed some detail on a "completed" model which is still in the undercoat colour!
Thanks yes indeed. Though I have done exactly that as well as missed like under an arm or something as well.
DeleteThank you Gordon :)
ReplyDeleteTop work as always- 'nuff said!
ReplyDeleteVery nice Simon!
ReplyDeleteNice work on these. Anything marked off as done is a win in my book. I had a lot more I wanted to do but such is life. Is this it for Zombtober, or are we stretching it one more week to November 1?
ReplyDeleteHola Amigo
ReplyDeleteSe ve muy bien
un saludo
Nicely done, love this amazing crawler!
ReplyDelete3 is better than none tho! The survivor and zombivor both look great.
ReplyDeleteAs the advert says "Every little helps", quality over quantity n this case methinks
