Well hot off the painting table for Pulp City this week is the lovely Lady Cyburn from part of the Heavy Metal faction and a level blaster hero. My Plan is to get a level 12 Heavy Metal team prepared ready to have a game with Pulp Citizen at some point in the future. I have a couple more characters being worked on. So watch this space.
Both weird and cute at the same time. Excellent paintwork!
ReplyDeleteLol thanks Bryan.
DeleteSensational stuff Simon, and I am in awe of your brushwork on her eyes. First-class stuff!! I do though miss that mossy doorstep of yours as a backdrop for the photos ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks dude. It will return at some point unfortunately we moved the garden around and access is awkward and very muddy to get to at the moment.
DeleteShe's great...definitely a 'Maria' from Metropolis vibe to her.
ReplyDeleteThanks Gordon. I love the mix of both human body and cybernetic parts its an ace fig.
DeleteShe looks fantastic. Definitely up for a game very soon. :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome Looking forward to it!
DeleteShe is superb, cracking start Simon.
ReplyDeleteNicely done, Simon. I like how she's looking off to her right.
ReplyDeleteThanks meant to be the glint off of her lenses though. Nevermind :)
DeleteGreat paint job on that model!
ReplyDeleteCheers fella :)
DeleteSmashing work mate.
ReplyDeleteThanks dude.
DeleteWhat a brilliant figure! I don't know whether I like her or not though but I do know I will not forget her very soon. Splendid painting though
ReplyDeleteThanks I wasn't sure either to begin with but she was really interesting to paint and i'm pleased with the end result :)
DeleteBrilliant work Brummie!
ReplyDeleteThanks fella :)
DeleteExcellent work.
ReplyDeleteShe's got a Dark Knight Returns mutant vibe to her.
Good point! Funnily enough I watched part 1 of the Dark Knight Returns this week!
DeleteLovely combo of colours!
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you Dezzy :)
DeleteI confess she is one of my least favorites from the Pulp City line, but I like the colour choices you've gone with. She looks simultaneously cute and dangerous.
ReplyDeleteI really like her character background as well which kind of inspired me to paint her.
DeleteThanks very much Fran.
ReplyDeleteGreat work Simon, especially her face. It looks smooth and was not overdone which is the right call as a thicker coat of paint would have ruined it. But then you already know all this. :)
