Zomtober Week 5 Studio Miniatures Survivors and Zombie

Making up for last weeks fail I have made a bigger effort this week and managed to get 3 figures finished.

First up is a duo both a Survivor and Zombie version of the same character. These were from the kickstarter I backed last year. Chandler or 'Not Carl' and his zombie version are available now but in different packs. The Zombie Carl is now in Zombies Character III and Chandler is now with Andy 'Not Rick'. I really like the idea of  having characters and there zombie versions. The only mildly annoying thing is they are sculpted by different sculptors and are slightly different sizes.

The third character is one of my favourites from the Walking Dead and like most of the originals ......dead. LOL Well here is a very alive version of 'Scott ' or Hershel as he is better known as. What I like about this miniature is you can him with and without his leg!

This Zomtober despite me missing a week has been quite productive. 7 Figures in total. 4 of which have lurked on the painting table for a very long time!

I think Herschel is my favourite, and was a favourite characters while I was still watching TWD. :)

  4. Great end to the month, and though I don't know who the characters are based on, I can appreciate you hard work on them.

Thanks for letting me join your happy un-dead party, and hope to jump back aboard next year.

    Cheers Roger.

  6. Great job Simon and I hadn't clocked the scale difference on the 'not' Carl and his zombie version - bummer! Hershel is definitely a favourite of mine too.

    1. Thanks Michael. I think its a shame its only minor in theory they will never be on the table at the same time. Just different sculptors.

  10. All great as usual, and that piece of terrain is great. However, given that I'm still stuck in season 3, the fact that there is a 'Zombie Carl' is a bit of a spoiler...

    ...it's all ruined now! ;)

    1. LOL thanks dude. Nah Carl is still alive and kick so far to my knowledge so keep watching. They are just like the HF Characters that have zombie versions.

  11. Herschel is my fave of the two as Coral is a bit too whiney for me to like even in miniature form! Great job Brum an thanks for the shoutout - Zombtober rules!

  14. Finishing off a "long time lurker miniature" must be a satisfying feeling, right? Makes Zomtober all the more worth while...

  15. Well done Simon! I like that companies are producing both a character & his Zombie alternate...we all know that characters will eventually succumb in our gaming exploits.
