Apocalypse Ilse Geronimo

Another miniature I've had for a while and finally got around to paint him. This is a Kev White sculpt (Hasslefree) but is owned by Akula and is part of his private commissioned Apocalypse Isle range of which spare castings are available. Its a cracking sculpt called Geronimo. I am going to use him as the leader of a band of River Pirates in my Post Apoc games but would obviously make a suitable zombie hunter etc.

I've got one of the pirate sets sculpted by Shany Hoyle and hope to pick up the armed civilians as I think they will make good 'Saviours' for Walking Dead themed games.

There is a wide variety of sculpts available so take a browse something might take your fancy

  3. It is a well sculpted figure but I don't know why he's holding his pistol in such a limp wristed manner! Beautiful paint job, by the way.

  11. I do like the figure. As you say suitable for a zombie hunter. (Or post apoc!) What I really like is the way you have painted the boots. the leather looks old and worn and therefore comfortable and supple!

    1. Cheers Clint. Pretty simple really Oak Brown basecoated. A dark tone shading wash
Then just highlight using very thin snakebite leather.

  12. He looks fantastic. Look at how you brought all his little details to life ... I mean this sounds mundane to the average joe but to us miniature painters ... his shoes - realistic; his eyes and skin tone - realistic' his leather bits - realistic and so on. Love this one Simon, I really do.

  15. Very nice; I like the colour scheme. The way the gun is pointing seems a little odd, though?
