Alpha Squad Scarlett

Another female Joe character finished one of the main characters from the early comics and in love with the silent but violent Snake Eyes. Scarlett is another fan favourite especially when mounted on her Ram Cycle! I also didn't realise some of the Joes made it into the Action Force universe using the same figures with different coloured uniforms. Scarlett or Quarrel as she is known in Action Force is on my radar at some point as I found some really cool 28mm British Commando's with EM2 rifles which with an appropriate paint scheme will make good SAS Force troopers. So a British contingent is planned eventually.

  1. More "G.I. Joe" goodness, Simon. I really take advantage of your fascination for this franchise and try to catch you up on the "Batman miniatures Game" tally ;-)

    1. Lol thank you mate. You may surpass it. I am not far off from quitting it tbh.

Version 2.0 is not for me. As for the company themselves I am disappointed with the choice of admin who runs the official community.

It seems absolutely ridiculous but he has fake accounts which he uses to read posts in other Facebook groups were the game is discussed in all its glory rather than the positive spin in he official group.

Then takes it upon himself to ban people not only from the official community but then from other groups he controls.

Obviously angered many people Knight Models have been contacted and they are choosing to ignore it.

But it gets worse not only his fake accounts won official knight models competitions but ones run by his own company!

Didn't cover his trail enough either selling in the trade group under fake accounts but used email addresses linked to his one man companits paypal account!

  5. I don't know any details about GI Joe, but that's a nice figure. Yellow can be difficult to paint; you've got it just right here, I think.

    1. Thanks Hugh. Yeah it the shading I don't like and it takes some layering to get it back to a solid colour bit not look chalky.
