Phew managed to get 3 figures done for this weeks entry. Had hoped to get 5 done but Kids birthdays, friends coming round to play (daughter) and touring potential High Schools has swallowed a lot of time.
Starting off with the Post Apocalyptic 'Not' Scooby gang from Hasslfree miniatures. The girls are coming to0 just not finished them in time for this week. Next week will most likely be just as busy and next weekend is the Derby Worlds 201 show (Now near Leicester due to venue problems).
First up the star of the show Scooby! Will have to get the normal set as well I think such a lovely model to paint. I have started reading the Scooby Apocalypse Comics and its an awesome more mature take on the Scooby gang only on Issue 3 so far.
Of course who would Scooby be without his partner in crime Shaggy.
Fred of course rounds out the boys part of the gang.
Really enjoyed painting the Scooby gang I really don't know why I didn't start them sooner. Now to get the girls finished!

ReplyDeleteThanks dude. Coming to a game near you 'soon'
DeleteOh yeeees! My first childhood heroes incoming :)

ReplyDeleteThanks Carl. The other 2 members are ready now just need photos doing of the whole group.
DeleteI hope Scrappy gets a showing?
ReplyDeleteSmashing work mate. Very fun sculpts and you've painted them up a treat!
Cheers Dai. Sadly there isn't a Scrappy Doo apparently some people loath him. I may have to mooch through my leadpile see If I can find something suitable.
DeleteLovely stuff! Is there a vehicle to transport them? I could see an APC in hippy colours...
ReplyDeleteCheers Barks! Ha tempting I am currently on the look out for one. Undecided on what yet. I have some Ainsty vehicles which could do the trick but spotted some Disney Cars toys the other day that could make an interesting transport option.
DeleteI was looking at some of the Cars as well-
Deletegreat minds think alike!
Lovely figures, nicely painted - what else is there to say :-) ?
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Hugh ;)
DeleteThese look really, really good! You definitely did an excellent job with them. The colours are spot on and give them that cartoony feel, in a good way of course.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much keeping in with the cartoons is what I had in mind.
