Statuesque Miniatures Minerva

Finishing off some odds and ends on the paint table this week. This is Minerva from Statuesque minatures Pulp Alley range. Single piece casting and comes in as part of a duo with Captain Wolf. I really love the Pulp Alley range done by Statuesque figures the miniatures are just stunningly done. I believe sculpted digitally.

I don't have any plans for Pulp gaming as such but Minerva shall be joining some Sky Pirates also from Statueqsue miniatures as a cast for 7TV. I am kind of thinking of some sort of Octopussy type venture but more on that at a later date as its all still rather vague lol.

  5. Great figure and an even better paint job. I find it difficult to paint blonde hair but you've done a cracking job.

    1. Cheers very much. My blonde is basically a basecoat of GW Bronzed Flesh (old style hex pots), washed with aemy painter soft tone. Then I add a bit of ushabti bone to he Bronzed flesh then add thin layers leaving the recesses the darker colour.

  9. Absolutely stunning brushwork Simon, and a wonderful sculpt.
As a fairly recent "returnee" (have I just invented a word?) to the hobby, I've never heard of Statuesque Miniatures, so a huge thank you for the inadvertant heads-up :-)

  10. I like the sculpt, simple yet looks very well done in a natural pose and no unnecessary details.
The scheme could be used for contemporary era gaming too. Nicely done mate.
