Another lurking paint table figure finished off this week. This time a member Cobra's Command. Destro. I slightly modified this one adding on wrist rockets and grenades that the action figure had. I had tried to make some round grenades out of putty but they looked crap so ripped them off and added on some different style but at least both symmetrical in size.
Looks good. I actually recognise this one!

DeleteOh... good call on the wrist rockets, Simon. Wish I'd thought of that one. Might need to go back and add those to mine. What did you use in the end when the putty didn't work out?
ReplyDeleteThanks dude. I used the tips from cock tail sticks for the rockets and then used some spare grenades I had from some ATDE figs that came with an accessory sprue

DeleteThe grenades turned out well, shame about the putty ones. This sculpting is harder than you would think.

DeleteNext to Firefly, Destro was my 2nd fav of all the Action Force characters. Just a sneaky swindling git - my type of guy.

Yeah I love Destro more so now than back then. I did have the action figure so he will feature in many games. Reading the comics I have a much more an urge to use the character as when I was a kid he was just a bit of a weirdo with a metal head lol.
DeleteFirefly was a favourite but i could just never find him in the shops and stores that carried the lines.
