Another Burrows mini finished from the recent kickstarter. This time the Hedgehog Huntress. Lovely characterful little mini. I struggled with defining the spines from the fur getting their in the end but it took to many steps to get to where I wanted her to be.
Very nice work, Simon! I like your color choice a lot.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Jonathon. Its hard trying to not pick neutral colours when their fur and spines are such similar colours.
DeleteFantastic work Simon!
ReplyDeleteCheers Michal!
DeleteGreat work Simon. I'm planning to have a hedgehog in my next warband too.
ReplyDeleteThey seem like cool characters and the bonus to block when armed with a bow makes them a good choice for archers I think.
DeleteStunning colors, great job Simon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil I am quite pleased with her.
DeleteLovely job with the spines Simon, well worth the effort.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Michael! Cheers I have another to do but undecided on whether to do her as a tan colour fur instead.
DeleteSplendid archer, lovely finish!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain

DeleteGreat work Simon, and really bold colours for the clothing
ReplyDeleteCheers Dave! I imagined her as the lady of the household or similar so went with the brighter scheme.
DeleteWonderfully bright colours!
ReplyDeleteThanks Skully!
DeleteLike the bright scheme Simon. Really nice hedgepig

ReplyDeleteThank you Joe!
DeleteThat yellow is sharp.
ReplyDeleteThanks the GW new base coat with the old sunburst yellow mixed in for highlights. It coats really well.
DeleteNice terrain on the base to round up a nice paint job!
ReplyDeleteCheers very much. Just a bit of flock and some tufts.
