Crooked Dice Survivor Star

This was a hurried strip and repaint to get used for the 7TV on Saturday just gone. I was never really happy with the original paint job it just didn't turn out the way I had hoped and need a model with an smg I picked her out and just thought nah this paintjobs got to go. So Last Monday in the jar of Dettol she went and between painting Femdroids I did little bits here and there and getting her finished Friday night just in time for the event the following morning!

I love this sculpt based on Lisa from The Omega Man and plan to use for her all sorts of purposes.

The old version originally the hair was a light brown/ochre colour but didn't gel well with the colour of the clothing which did also didn't turned out as planned.

    1. Cheers Dave. It was fab. Smaller turn out than normal but was just a good as usual. Was really good to have a natter in person and meet up with old friends.

    1. Thanks Ray. It was probably more that she didn't turn out how I wanted.

  4. I liked the older version, looing very 70's but the newer version with a more urban look is imho the better version.

    1. Cheers Joe. Yes I think I will get more use out of her the way she is. I may try and highlight the red up a bit more.

    1. Thanks Terry. Just a very lazy Army Painter dark tone wash over Army Painter Plate Mail.

  7. Awesome figs - I lived the '70's. Big afros and bell bottoms; well I did wear bell bottoms.

    1. Cheers dude. I was born a little late for the 70s. But still watched plenty of TV and movies from this decade.

  8. The old one was great, but the new one looks even better. I guess that getting back to old works is always a hard choice, but you certainly took the right path with this one!

    1. Thanks Suber. I guess I was more disappointed in the old one with how it turned out.
