Crooked Dice Beastmen Hero 1 Cheetara

I've been keep meaning to grab these for a while as I had already did Mumm-Ra and the Mutants a couple of years back. LINK Fancying something a bit different to paint and having picked them in a recent Crooked Dice order. I ended up prepping these guys first. I have finished off Cheetara first as her colours for her costume I pretty much had all the paints. But the others I think are going to need a little bit more planning though I have started off Lion-O.

Quite a tricky one to photograph. Someone eagle eyed and spotted a black spot on the tip of her nose so I retook the photos for like what feels like the fiftieth time!

Some of the other new toys I got this month from Crooked Dice were the recently released Soldiers of Fortune set which as a huge fan of the A Team I just had to get! I am aware of the Foundry and Studio miniatures sets but I am a huge van of Ernst's sculpting skills. I have the previous version of Hannibal that CD did but wanted the rest of the crew in the same style to match. I am a bit torn now on which Hannibal to use. The Faces are brilliant.

    1. Cheers dude! I have Lion O nearly basecoated but I don't think I will get much further with him until I get off my vacation in a few weeks. I also may have got hold of some STL Files for the Thundertank...

  7. She is really cool - I lover the A Team figures too, as you say, the faces are spot on! Crooked Dice is a great range - I would really like to get their female minions but apart from painting them, I have absolutely no use for them!

    2. Cheers Rross. I love the female minions I just wish there were a few heavy weapon options for them. I think an rpg would be cool. Awesome I am looking forward to seeing the new sci fi figs that are coming from Hasslefree in there new kickstarter. I shall probably paint some more HF stuff when I get around to picking up the Fantasy set.

  8. Cheetra may not be my type of thing but you've done a gret job onher - what a dynamic sculpt !
Having spent many an hour watching yjr A team it came as no surprise that there would be miniatures of the team. I'm beginning to wonder if there are any film and TV personalities that can't be found in miniature!
