I did some before and after pictures just because my eyes blur detail and only when taking photos can I see the bloody mistakes some quite ridiculous to be honest. The photos are all before then after shots I include two of baker as the changes can only be seen from cert angles. Dionne I'm still not sure about the face.
This week I read Autumn by David Moody. This is the first book in the series and details the start of the Zombie Apocalypse. I found it to be a great read and does things a lot different to your normal Zombie book from how they awaken and react and its a slow burn. I can't wait to get my hand on the next book but have got to wait for the Library to get hold of it.
Looking pretty good there.
ReplyDeleteHmmm could be I need to find me a good zombie book to read....
The camera can be so cruel, but hats off to you in taking the time to go back and make amends. The guy with the fire axe always makes me chuckle!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip on Autumn, always looking for an excuse to order up some more zeds.
There's nothing wrong with your paintwork, Simon. They all look good to me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the book review. I like to go off other people's recommendations as I usually find that if they like it, I'll like it. Mr. Moody is quite a prolific author.
I love Hasslefree models :D
ReplyDeleteDionne with that blu suit remind me Susan Storm from Fantastic 4 :D
Its just saft stuff like the black spod on maddogs right leg and cheek. flesh missing from grants eye, highlights missing and stuff i'm just not happy with.
ReplyDelete@Michael Its annoying because I don't spot them until the photo then when i look at the figure its so obvious.
@Vampifan Autumn was great I read it in 2 days which has been unusual for me as lately its took me weeks to read some books. I'm reading 'The Dead' by Charlie Higson at the moment and thats being devoured at the same rate.
Cool, going over old stuff's something i always put off. great job.
ReplyDeleteNice stuf, I also liked your previous sheriff. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteLooking good, so good that I will allow you to come to Australia and paint my figures :-P
ReplyDeleteYou've done them well mate, bloody good work especially Kat.....
ReplyDeleteVery nice, there's just something very camp about the fireman!!!! oo er misses!!
ReplyDeleteGreat figures all round... ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you fellas. I can't wait for order to come from Hasslefree
ReplyDeleteThose came out very nice. As said, the fireman is an excellent model and you've done a great job on it.
ReplyDeleteYou've got a lot of figs here I've wanted to pick up for myself, great figs and nice paint jobs to boot. Rock on...
ReplyDeleteThanks guys. So much cool stuff out at the moment
ReplyDeleteI've always loved that Hasslefree mini... and that firefighter is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteFantastic paint jobs! I loved Autumn. I was lucky enough to get the book way back when it was available for free download and when I met Mr Moody last year he was kind enough to sign the first page of the manuscript for me. He's a really nice guy too! Highly recommended read!
ReplyDeleteCheers Ad, Reading 'The Dead' by Charlie Higson and its really good so far
ReplyDeleteCool painted figures, but I hope I will never see a firefighter like that around here :-D
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Peter
