7TV Rulebook and Rescue Team Finished

Well finally managed to get into Waylands Forge and collected my Copy of 7TV Core Rules. WOW what an awesome book. Its absolutely fantastic quality it is beautifully set out, top quality print, the artwork is great and its all in full colour I'd thoroughly recommend getting the printed version over the PDF! Can't wait to try it out. Need a few bits to get first then I can have a few trials. If this is the quality of all there printed products then I shall be definitely picking up all the tokens and gadget/event cards Get it HERE

Finished my Rescue Team Split these into the two packs that I had from Gripping Beast. They are both from the MOFO Falklands British range. The first photos are of the smg pack I chose to use the Wooly hat heads for both these packs as I was after a special forces type look. The second set is the command (minus the mortar not decided if I want to use it yet) The guy in blue will be the leader I changed his head for the Grizzled Minion head from Crooked Dice. The main influence of these guys is the movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service I saw this recently for the first time and though what a cracking film for some reason I must of missed this growing up or it wasn't shown on telly much. The rescue teams at the end are in simliar gear and so the seeds were sown.

Not sure what to start on next I also picked up a set of Crooked Dice's new minions set the flamethrower and technician guy. Nice sculpts and will be good additions to my other minions/guards. Have a load of Hasslefree bits to get finished for various projects so we will see.

  5. Looking good Brummie! There was a game of 7TV at my club and the guy playing was singing its praises, so I think you've got something to look forward to! Might have to get it myself now ... and watch OHMSS!

  8. I've just gotten into 7tv myself, and even after a quick read of the rulebook I have a page of ideas of games to play. Looking forward to getting some game time under my belt.

  10. Thanks for all the kind comments guys.

@CMNASH Go watch it you know you want to :D

@Zombie AD the 7ombieTV Rules are standalone I believe. The Core rules just flesh them out abit (pun intended hehe)

Not had chance to have a proper read through yet. Read the intro and flicked through at all the groovy artwork and pictures

  13. I've had quite an interest in this game for a while now. Sounds great. I don't suppose you ever go to the wargames club in Ladywood do you?!?

  14. No don't currently go to any clubs at the moment only been back into the hobby properly for a year and starting more or less from scratch.

    Do they have a website?

    1. Yes they do, but it is very old and out of date! Even I wouldn't recognise it! Do a Google search for "October Wargames Club", although I'm not sure it is even called that any more!

    1. To be fair it is better than the website looks and I've met a good gaming buddy there. That means more when you appreciate that I am *really* fussy about who I game with. :)

  16. I know what you mean. I've not really gamed at a club in over fifteen years and that was at school lol. Used to game with a few guys at home etc but they have lost interest or moved away!

  17. I'm pretty much the same! I used to play Man O'War with a couple of friends when I was 16 or so. Tried to get one other friend into Star Wars minitures, but he was more into computer games. Since then I moved more over to boardgames until I found this club. Still, even now most of my wargaming is done solo!

  18. Solo will be the way for me for a while yet. my kids are too little and are hard work.

I'm reading the 7TV rules. So might have a few little games if I get chance this week just to test them out and get my head around something none GW
