Nexus Miniatures SDZA British Agent no 1

Been quite a busy week in real life and has not been that productive. Finished off this guy from Nexus Miniatures. Decided to go with the typical all in black tuxedo look for this gentlemen and I think painted up with black hair makes a good stand in for a Connery Bond.

I have to say the greens that have been posted up on facebook recent;y for forthcoming miniatures from Nexus are just fantastic. I shall try and put a post together in the week about it if your a fan of many 80s movies and tv series your gonna wet yourself when you see some of them!

Work continues on the building its now base coated and has had sand and other debris added hopefully I'll get sealed tonight or tomorrow then I can begin the fun of painting it up.

  1. Lovely straightforward paintjob, Simon. You;re spot on as he is very Sean Connery.

"...Gonna wet yourself when you see some of them." - Presumably you meant the models as opposed to the prices. £9.90 (inclu P&P) for one figure... You're absolutely spot on about quality of their upcoming Mulder & Scully greens but even at a discount they still weigh in at £18.81 (inclu P&P); limited release [50 casts] or not :-( Fingers crossed they start producing them in metal soon... Glad the building is coming along and really looking forward to another WIP posting.

    1. Thanks very much. I think its a very good price for a Resin Character figure. Comparable prices are around £12+ They will be out in metal soon and obviously won't carry that price tag.

The Resin release which holds more detail is more to fund further sculpts so we can get more mini's made sooner.

    2. Simon. That makes perfect sense. I see the excellent Doctor Warlock is also involved so, as you say, the sculpts will undoubtedly become a must have for any "7TV" fan :-)

    1. Thanks mate. The Building has stalled this week. I just hadn't had the time or inclination to do anything this week.

  8. That's a nice model, isn't it? Mind you, the gun looks a bit big for a Walther PPK, I think. Artistic licence applies...

    1. Yes it is. But also Bond uses many pistols of many makes and sizes so I suppose it would be boring if they all just had one type of pistol. Besides this is one of several bond miniatures I have.

  9. Very Nice Brummie. The car fits the figure very well. Both compliment each other.
