Building my Post Apoc ruin has got me back in the mood for it again. I had thought about doing another all female gang besides the Sisters of Acquisition. I had some Hasslefree figures kicking around having recently been stripped of there paintjobs and thought what the heck lets create one.
Being more military attired than most my Hasslefree figs these are going to be another State Acquisition Squad. I quite like the name 'The Sirens' and no matter what other names I come up with I keep coming back to it.
The first member finished is the squads Scrapper Jenna. Equipped with dual pistols and an assassins blade Jenna appears small in stature to many but don't be fooled by her physical size. Many a meat head has come unstuck thinking they'll have they upper hand in close quarters but Jenna's lightening speed and reflexes allows her to dodge clumsy blows, to time it right to land a crippling often fatal blow.
Work has started on the other members of the squad. Some conversion work is required (a couple of weapon swaps needed).
Big thumbs up from me Simon. Lovely work and the blue-green-brown combination really works well together. Great paint work. Nice to see a bit of greenery on the step as well ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks mate. Its all meant to be cobbled together equipment. The other four will have a similar colour scheme though grey has been added in a few places.

DeleteSimon
I am loving the Sirens, Simon. As others have said, your effect with the green is really outstanding. I've had my eye on these sculpts to kickstart my Imperial Guard collection as planetary militia. Now I'm really tempted to get some.
ReplyDeleteGreat work.
Your stuff just keeps getting better and better, very impressive
