Totally forgot to post this guy up on the blog. I finished him back in April!! But forgot to take pics and found him last night whilst sorting out my storage boxes.

Here is the Tor Gaming Banished Knight for Relics. A Ridened (goblin type)
I introduce Sire Bilge the red knight. Lost his Kapolop Figgins at the battle of King Jorje's hill. Eaten by an Orcnar Beorn known as Spudicus.
Anyway back to painting raiders!!
he is ever so delightful! Lovely shade of red too
ReplyDeleteThanks the Blue or possibly the green knight will be next :)
DeleteThis is the kind of nonsense that gets me really wanting to play games I have neither the time nor money for. ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha. Great work. Love the figure and the paint job. How do you find Relics as a game?
Its seems like a lot of fun easy to learn but difficult to master. If i'm honest I've only tried a quick learn the ropes game. I was going to go to a Tournament but it got cancelled. I have some Orcnar to paint up which I'm looking to start soonish.
DeleteCheers, Simon. Sounds interesting.
DeleteIf your interested in having a look the rules are free. The fluff is removed though.

DeleteAwesome paint job Simon. I like the character intro too :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Will. Short and sweet :)
DeleteVery fun sculpt and a great paint job. The red is lovely and vibrant and a good contrast to the rest of the armour!
ReplyDeleteIts an ace sculpt. Yeah I want to go bright and shiny more so due to the bits of background fluff thats been popped out.
DeleteLovely paintwork Simon!
ReplyDeleteThanks very much mate.
DeleteExcellent work on your Banished Knight there sir! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are inspiring me to dig the Relics stuff out with posts like this... :)
Thanks very much. You know you want to!
DeleteI do, I do! :)
DeleteNot sure how you could forget such a wonderfully painted and animated mini Simon. But there again you're churning out some top class stuff at present :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks I think I forgot it be cause I posted pics of the unbased version for the monthly paint comp then didn't base it until I did the Shattered Crown stuff.
DeleteAbsolutely priceless and beautifully painted Simon. I love what you are doing with the bases too.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much. Its quite enjoyable playing with tufts and stuff, I have a mate who is making his own so i'm hoping he'll send me some to have a play with :D
DeleteTo quote from Star Wars, "Aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?"
ReplyDeleteVery nice work, brought a smile to my face for sure. Crisp colours, clean brushwork - top shelf.
Thanks very much Michael :) Yep Goblins they're short Arses :D
DeleteVery well done, Simon. Your selective use of red on the armor looks great.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I wanted to break up all the metal colour. Not sure what the next one is going to be like yet.
DeleteARrghhh ... he is so cute. :)
ReplyDeleteNicely done Simon. Little details like the lining on the ropes and washes on the rivets maketh the knight.
Thanks. The backpack was tricky so much stuff crammed into his pack :)
DeleteCool models and a great paint job on them!
ReplyDeleteThanks mate. There lovely figs .
DeleteHe looks superb, love this red!
ReplyDeleteCheers Phil :)
DeleteHe's a great looking figure, nice work Simon.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much mate.
DeleteOnly from reading others comments did I learn that this is a goblin and from Tor wargaming, I can be slow on the uptake at times. That said you have done a brilliant job of the painting it really does look supurbe
ReplyDeleteThanks very much. Lol good point. I would of thought the tags at the bottom of the post would of been a clue. I have amended the top part.
