Having a cracking type painting various figures at the moment. Got these two finished this week from Nexus Miniatures. They are obviously not Mulder and Scully cracking sculpts from the talented hands of Ian Mountain. Really enjoyed painting this duo up I want some grey Aliens now and can add some M.I.B's for some UFO hunting!
Talking of Nexus miniatures they have some awesome figures coming out and are up for pre-order whilst they waiting for stock from the casters.
The Seraphis Institute.
Available as a deal for £23.25 or you can order them individually.
Really like this character as well the first Deadling Hero
Not Scully and Not "Spooky" Molder look good. I will have to check out that company as I do like Ian Mountain sculpts.
ReplyDeleteThanks Clint, There are quite a few done by him now. There all great and highly useful!
DeleteGreat work, Simon. Spookily I've put some paint on my two as well recently, then sadly put them aside... Love the colour hair for scully - you've got that spot on. Its clear Drew is releasing a lot of good stuff imminently. I really need to crack on with my backlog!! Terrific posting.
ReplyDeleteAwesome to hear! Thanks fella this is a repaint of Scully I really wasn't happy with her the first time and ended up strpping and starting again. I find it harder to paint a figure a second time.
DeleteThey turned out cracking Simon, I have a pair of those guys in 15mm!
ReplyDeleteSweet! They painted yet fella?
DeleteGreat job Simon! The new stuff coming out looks really nice too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bob. There are some cool and familiar faces in there.
DeleteYou really have been on a roll lately and I'm really enjoying see your figures on FB.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne! Yea FB is a lot easier to share your work and more convenient! However I like the ease of blogger to refer back to my work and projects :D
DeleteGreat job on Sculder and Mulley, Simon. They definitely look the part.
ReplyDeleteThe deadling hero has potential.
Thanks dude. Yeah I really like the suited gents as well as the Deadling there are some other really cool ones coming out that I've seen the greens for

ReplyDeleteCheers Michael yes indeed they will be!
Deleteyou gave them such a brilliant shine!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dezzie :)
DeleteM.I.B, XCom, X-Files...it's all good stuff!
ReplyDeleteOoh, that evil prophet is a good figure, isn't he? I could just see him being the big baddy in a Star Trek movie...
Yes indeed. Never really played X Com but some cool games could be played out with it. Have just spotted the Zombiesmith greys and the resolve and the wallet is wavering abit!

ReplyDeleteCheers dude. I really must return to it as well at some point I watched it when it originally aired on tv but not since and I'm sure only the first few seasons of it.
DeleteGreat looking figures as always, Simon. I have to say, your site is one-stop-shopping for all new figures in this genre.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean, My favourite sort of figures I suppose :)
DeleteFantastic work Simon. Getting such results at this scale is no mean feat. Deserves a 'I Want to Believe' poster next to them.
ReplyDeleteThanks mate. Yes indeed I shall have to find one and print it out as a poster on my terrain somewhere!
