Savage Penguin

Final thug finished off that I currently own for my Penguin Crew the Savage Penguin. I have one more set of thugs, Sickle and the Gotham Penguin to purchase which will give me some stuff to switch out and swap around with.

Brings my Crew up to 339 Rep $1600 dollars with some spare cash for other bits. Got a game coming up against pulp citizen and this will be my biggest game so far and i'm looking forward to it :)

Penguin
Mr. Freeze
Titan Thug
Penguin Emperor
Savage Penguin
Ice Penguin
Royal Penguin
Blue Penguin Axe
Blue Penguin Shield

  1. Having not played Batman at all (and being unlikely to) I am surprised that Penguin and crew are the only figures I ever see anyone paint.

A nice job on the thug all action packed and ready for mischief.

    1. Thanks Clint. I think it depends on what circles you visit in. There are quite a few bloggers who play and i've seen joker, black mask and green arrow and law crews from various folk. I will probably be starting a second crew shortly once I decide on what figures to pick up.

  3. Nice work Simon, although v interested in batman it has to by necessity go on the back burner alongside bushido as money is being diverted into my boards and ATZ. but nice to see these figs

  6. Your postings on this game continue to be extremely tempting stuff Simon. Wonderful painting and you've clearly got a formidable team together. Any chance of a group shot?

  7. Good looking addition to Penguin. I won't be adding that crew to my collection any time soon, and neither of the other two players are running it locally either, so I'm curious to hear how they play. Have you considered adding in a few free agents, or are you sticking with pure Penguin?

    1. Thanks. The only Free Agent I have at the moment Is Mr. Freeze. I may pick up a few other free agents later down the line. I kind of like the look of the whole gang together as a faction if you know what I mean.

I think next though it will be some kind of Law one.

    2. That's what I've been playing lately, as I have all of the law minis painted as well as Catwoman and Batwoman. batgirl is WIP, and after that I'll probably move on to Bane.

  10. Desire being one of the first released, Penguin is one of the crews I've neither played against or used. It will be interesting to hear how it works. Looks fabulous.

  12. Are these names ("savage penguin" &c) just manufacturer's codes or are they used by the gang leader to identify his/her minions? If the latter, it sounds a little like the Spice Girls to me. Or Reservoir Dogs :-) ...

    1. It is how they are named in the game by Knight models to differentiate all the different henchmen. Mostly it's armament but some have more skills and traits than others.
