At the recent tournament the prize I selected from the pool was a Tournament or Gold Card. A new profile for an existing miniature. In this case it use the Gotham Policeman who normal is a minion anyway and used to fill out lists as he is only 16 rep.
Sgt Winslow Gold Card
Gotham Policeman (who you can take 3 of in a list. Shame they don't do anther pack of cops for this with alt sculpts especially when the female cop in the other police pack is also a minion).
This version of the Gotham Policeman has been renamed to Sgt Winslow based on the Officer from Diehard that first gets called to investigate Nokatami Plaza. Also in the US Series Family Matters (I am not familiar with this show at all). Sgt Winslow can only be taken in Law crews so I can't use him in Green Arrow or Batman lists which is a shame really.
Anyway Sgt Winslow get a nice bump in his stats he is 12 rep more but has higher Endurance and increased strength, Gains detective (cancels a pass), Bullet Proof vest (4+ to with firearms rather than the usual 2+, Veteran (able to reallocate 2 Action counters upon activation) and Order (can spend a SC and get a friendly model to redistribute 2 of there counters).
Sgt Winslow still keeps Arrest and Lantern which can be useful though Lantern I rarely see used.
His weapon has changed from a baton to a tonfa which is Handy and Defensive (Rerolls to hit and block) rather than handy and heavy. (rerolls to hit and +1 strength)
I hope to use Sgt Winslow in my Law Forces crew replacing the Agent O'Connell Officer with the Tazer as a similar price in Reputation but I prefer the durability of the bullet proof vest and the rerolls to blocks is very handy to have. Sgt Winslow will be my objective sitter most likely with the a Whistle equipment giving him the Halt! trait allowing him to slow down enemies approach.
Anyway I felt I needed to make a model of him (I fortunately had a spare set of Gotham Police 1) I trimmed down the baton to keep it more Tonfa like and sculpted on a bullet proof vest using milliput.
I am quite pleased with results and look forward to getting him on the table in my Law crew.
This game continues to sound more and more engrossing, Simon. A wonderful looking mini and a nice bit of fluff to boot!!
