Batman miniature Game SWAT Echo & Bravo

Working my through my Law models next up are a couple of the Swat team members. Echo is part of next tournament list and Bravo I need for a demo game I'm running this week for some friends.

These are older models and as such were a pain to put together. Echo was ok being the new Swat member in the Comissioner Loeb crew set but Bravo is old school coming with Comissioner Gordon and the other Swat members Alpha and Delta.

Both models come in several pieces. Legs, Torso, Arms and Head. Bravo's issue is you have to bend the shotgun to get them to fit onto the body and unfortunately its very hard to untwist. I've done the best I can with it and have seen quite a few noodly shotguns in my games.

Echo is very much an objective grabber he has good endurance and movement. A Bullet proof vest to mitigate firearms. Echo has gone through several errata over time adding Brutal allowing him to rerolls the collateral in order to increase the chance of getting the critical push that it does. Recently they added Lethal Blow which is a special attack which if successful renders your enemy senseless losing all there action counters.

Bravo also has the same stats as Echo good endurance and movement but his main use is mobile firepower with his shotgun. It is only single Rate of Fire so there is no downside to keeping still to increase it for more shots. Allowing you to just advance laying down fire as you advance up onto an objective. I find shotguns a bit hit and miss personally I always seem to miss when using mine lol

  1. Excellent stuff Simon. :)

Not looking forward to putting these together when I eventually get around to it.

    1. Cheers dude. Sadly they hail back to the days of bad design for molding. They just require that bit more effort.

  2. You really are fast becoming a painting machine these days, Simon, as you seem to be churning these "BMG" minis out all the time - with no hint of a drop in paintbrush quality. I'm not sure what a "noodly shotgun" looks like, but your one certainly isn't :-)

    1. Cheers dude, I tend to concentrate on one mini at a time at the moment. Re the shotgun cheers Its more that its got a slight twist to it but i've tried to disguise it a little with the paintwork as well.

  3. These are a splendid pair Simon, really nicely done especially given how fiddly they were to put together.

  4. Great stuff as usual Simon! And I like that dynamic pose of the first mini ... a 'I'm going break your door down' kind of vibe. :)

  5. Good minis and brushwork, but I must admit to hating multipart gifures.

    1. Thank you Joe. I don't mind it to much if they go together with little fuss. Just some of these older batman ones are a pain which I'd forgotten.

  7. My sheriff's deputy mate recently described his first time using a hand-held ram. Big bloke, so he of course sent it right through the door where it promptly got stuck. :)

I like minis like these - just average joes stepping up like they're supposed to. Once again mate, good work.
