A quick paintjob on this one. I have had Major Bludd started flesh and eyes done mostly for a while. So whilst waiting for washes to dry on my Walking Dead stuff this week quickly finished him off.
Again I was fortunate to get some spare castings from a private collection. I wanted my Major to be a bit different so moved his arm position slightly turned his head and added an m16 from the Wargames Factory Survivor Sprues.

Very nice looking. The old merc was always one of my favorite GI Joe characters.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much. I wasn't that fussed about him as a kid but reading the comics recently and he has grown on me.
DeleteGreat looking model Simon, seamless conversion and great painting
ReplyDeleteThanks Dave. It was fun to do inbetween the Walking Dead stuff.
DeleteAnother terrific addition. Really good stuff. I look forward to more especially more TWD figures.
ReplyDeleteCheers Clint. Just preparing my next blog post with the next lot of Walking Dead on :)
DeleteSmashing bit of work, he really has the look of a grizzly old vet :)

ReplyDeleteThanks Michal! very kind of you to say so :)
DeleteOh, that's a nice one! I really like him :)
ReplyDeleteCheers Suber. I think he would do well as a merc in a Sci Fi game.
DeleteBrilliant! I hope the Baroness is up next 😀
ReplyDeleteCheers Ivor. I had already done that one.

What a fantastic figure Simon! I just missed that post, I think I started following your blog shortly after when Zombtober kicked off last year - in a nod to the old Joe comics, clearly I need to take an afternoon off and go back to check out all the "back issues" of the blog 😀
DeleteLooks the part, thanks to your paint job of course.
ReplyDeleteThank you sir!
Deletegreat paint-job on this guy, though I think his pose looks awkward to me.
ReplyDeleteMust just be the angle. Looks like he is advancing to me snapping shots off with his laser pistol.
