Merry Christmas!

I'd like to wish all my blog followers a very Merry Christmas. I hope you all had something nice in your Christmas stockings?

That is assuming you all have been good girls and boys that is!

We are experiencing technical issues in the Brummie household powering off my laptop Christmas Eve has seen the death of it. I think it needs a new system board which will have to wait a bit due to the usual Christmas spend!

So I am trying to get used to using my mobile to write posts.

Loot wise from Santa I was very lucky to get Here's Negan from Mantic games. It is a standalone game set in the Walking Dead comic universe. With Negan and his gang attempting to clear out the Sanctuary of zombies. I also got Golden Eye for the family wii so have spent a bit of time playing that amongst all the kids games.

The kids got a game called Labyrinth it's quite fun. You have to create paths so ypur mage can collect treasure around the maze. Slotting In the spare tile to create clear paths. I'm not very good at it.

Only really got as far as unpacking and punching everything out. The figures are fab though seemingly much farmers and detailed than the first sets of the Walking Dead figures.

These are going into January's paint queue alongside some figures from Kitbash Games upcoming kickstarter.

  5. A very happy New Year to you and your family, Simon. I received my copy of "Here's Negan" a few days before Christmas and having played it I can tell you it is a great game to play. Have fun and try not to enrage Negan. You won't like him when he's angry!

  8. Happy new year Simon. I couldn't imagine trying to write a blog post on mobile. I hate typing comments on my phone and rarely get them right. When I do autocorrect usually ruins it worse and I still haven't figured out how to shut it down :P . Those Here's Negan figures are hot. Mine was delivered before the holidays but I got distracted and we are tied for progress on our sets. Goblyn has less patience with board games than i do so I got her a shiny parrot filled with catnip to attack. Looking forward to keeping up with you in hobby in the New Year. Cheers!

    1. I'm not sure when I will be starting mine. Probably next week some time when the kids are back. I've got a bunch of stuff that's hitting the table in prep so it will probably be a bit of Russian Roulette as to what grabs my attention first. Happy New Year my friend!
