So my plan for Zomtober this year is to work my through the characters part of the Here's Negan board game. I already had enough painted Walkers to play so all I need to get done is the main player characters and Negan. I may continue with the walkers next month depending on how I feel.
Managed to get an hour in most nights this week allowing me to finish John and Sherry as well as doing the odd bits here and there on the other four.

Looking good. The Walking Dead minis are good for getting through quickly as there's not much fiddly detail.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kieron. Yeah its a very good point. Though I struggle with the trousers for some reason.
DeleteFantastic work Simon, off to a great start for the month's challenge
ReplyDeleteCheers Dave. Its good timing was a bit lost with what to work on so its been good to direct my attention. Plus I have loads of TWD stuff to get through!
DeleteLooking good Simon!
ReplyDeleteThanks mate!
DeleteNice work Simon.
ReplyDeleteCheers Frank!
DeleteWondrous start to this year's "Zomtober" Challenge, Simon. Nice backdrop to your photos too :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Simon. I am finding it makes focusing on the figures much easier!
DeleteYou can't go wrong with Mantic's TWD figures, Simon.
ReplyDeleteNo indeed. Besides the clean up I really like the style of them.
DeleteGreat start Simon! You really nailed the color on the jeans 🙂
ReplyDeleteThanks mate. I really wasn't sure about them this time for some reason. But left them alone in the end.
DeleteA great couple of minis.
ReplyDeleteCheers Phil! Hoping to make a dent in the pile.
DeleteNice work
ReplyDeleteThanks MBG!
DeleteBoth turned out great, but I love Sherry!
ReplyDeleteCheers very much Skully. I think she is my least favourite out of the Saviours but I am pleased with how she has turned out in the end.
DeleteFantastic as always !
ReplyDeleteTa Michal!
DeleteGreat start to Zomtober and your 'pastel' pallette is great too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joe. I really don't see how it is pastel though.
DeleteSome great additions there Simon.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Stu
Cheers very much Stuart. Breaking the 50 Walking Dead miniatures completed barrier with these two.
DeleteGreat work on those menacing-looking characters, Simon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean. I am looking forward to getting some games in with them come half term vacation at the end of the month.
DeleteExcellent start Simon! The Walking Dead figures, though I have yet to paint many, make excellent survivors, as they are more typical of what one would expect, a knife or metal bar being their main weaponry. Not too many people making bullets these days!
ReplyDeleteYeah I must agree. I like some of the lesser early characters in there shocked and frightened poses
DeleteFabulous start Simon.
ReplyDeleteCheers very much Michael!
DeleteThe jeans look fine to me, both are a couple of good uns
ReplyDeleteThanks mate. I just couldn't get them to look the way I wanted.
DeleteThat's gret, cool job on both of them :)
ReplyDeleteCheers very much Suber!
DeleteGreat looking miniatures! 😀
ReplyDeleteThank you Stew!
Deletegreat job!
ReplyDeleteCheers dude
DeleteSmashing looking models Simon, nicely painted :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Darryl
DeleteGood work mate, these two are a great start to the month. The background too helps them stand out more - I need to work on that for my own pics.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Dai it certainly helps and makes taking photos much easier
DeleteI never cease to be amazed by your work with figurines at such small scales. Great duo!
