Another week has passed by and I have been steadily chipping away at the next two managing to finish them Friday morning.
So first up the NPC of the Board game is Negan. I love this sculpt with the shoulder sling rifle and him holding Lucille aloft.
Next up is Tara I really like the pose they did her in though cleaning off a mold line between the lifted up arm and her face was a bit of pain with this one.
The four finished so far. Laura and Dwight are wip as I have done the odd bit of base coating with shared colours from these done so far. I also got some of the boosters ready as I might try to get another set done for the final week. They just need basing and undercoating.

Your latest two look fantastic Simon, and fit perfectly with the other two you've already done
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Dave. Yeah they are all part of Negan's early gang so are all part of the same group really.
DeleteWhat a corking pair of welcome additions to your collection, Simon. I especially like Tara, as that's a great pose she's in. Good work, mate :-)
ReplyDeleteCheers Simon. I really like all of the Here's Negan characters they are really nicely posed.
DeleteThere's a missed opportunity for a Where's Negan book with him hiding in pictures of lots of zombies wearing a bobble hat - Negan, not the zombies, although zombies in bobble hats would be cool.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff!
Lmao yes that would be hilarious. Thanks mate!
DeleteI really like them both, Simon. You've painted them extremely well.
ReplyDeleteTa muchly Bryan! They are a blast to paint. Can't wait to get Dwight and Laura done and get some games in with them.
DeleteGreat stuff Simon! White is always a tough color to get to look right and yours looks brilliant. I guess I didn't look closely enough at my figures to realize that Tara needed a belt when I opened my Negan box lol!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ivor it is really just a light grey base wash with Dark tone then lots of thin layers of white leaving the creases and then just building it gradually up.
DeleteA tough, desperate bunch of survivors you have there, nicely painted fella :-)
ReplyDeleteCheers Darryl that they certainly are. I am looking forward to what comes next from Mantic for the Walking Dead line.
DeleteAwesome additions, Simon. Nice work on the wire wrapped on the club. I also love the way Tara wears her jeans!
ReplyDeleteCheers its is a much slightly more detailed sculpt than my first one I did it was easier to pick out the wire. Tara looks cool but I can't i it is practical or not.
DeleteSome great reinforcements Simon, great work.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Stu
Thanks Stuart I keep meaning to pick up Call to Arms which is much more focused on Survivor vs Survivor combat.
DeleteCracking bit of work Simon :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Frank!
DeleteCracking work Simon.
ReplyDeleteCheers Michael!
DeleteI gave up on the `Talking Dead' at the end of season two so I've never seen Negan on film only on photos on the internet. I'm not sure what the sculpt is based on the film or the comic but you've painted it well.
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil. Mantic have the license for the Comics so are based on that style.
DeleteHell yeah! Looking great!
ReplyDeleteCheers Michal!
Deletefantastic work. What great models!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rob. They are really cool poses.
DeleteGreat looking pieces!
ReplyDeleteCheers Bro!
DeleteGreat looking apain of minis and very close to their tv counterparts.
ReplyDeleteCheers Joe. Yeah they are spot on for there comic imagery.
DeleteWell done Simon, though Tara needs to pull them pants up & get a belt!
ReplyDeleteThanks Terry she has one. But I can't decide if its a tactic so she can escape being grabbed or not?
DeleteThey both look lovely :)
ReplyDeleteTa Suber ;)
DeleteNice painting!
ReplyDeleteI was always impressed that in the post apocalyptic zombie land that Negan had such clean white T-shirts. Mine are never that white. 😀
Cheers Stew! Negan has someone do his laundry obviously!
DeleteMore excellent work Simon. I must say that Negan needs a salt and pepper beard shadow to complete him. But then again, he looks good as is. So I am torn :)
ReplyDeleteHere's Negan! great work mate
ReplyDeleteNeat and clean painting. Specially like Negan.
ReplyDeleteWhilst the game rules never caught my attention the minis for walking dead are very nice.
ReplyDeleteNeegan looks spot on mate, bravo
