Since wondering into my local model shop and stumble across some of the Crooked Dice range found in there i'm on a secret agent mission again. We have two Crooked Dice packs this week. Men from the future and the lovelly Agent Pandora King.
Miss King i've painted in a vault dweller suit so again she can be used in more than one type of game same goes as the Men from the Future. I quite fancy the Man From 2000 (in grey) as Villain or Leader of some sort.
I also got painted my third Copplestone Bad guy in suit and 'Harry Palmer' figure from my Artizan pack I picked up.
lovely painting. I like the Harry figure the most.
ReplyDeleteLooking at the villain in grey i get the sense that he is a sociopath ;-)
She has a weird stance! Painting is good though, on all of them.
ReplyDeleteNice brushwork, Brummie. I like them all but my favourite is the Man from 2000. He reminds me very much of Ed Straker from Gerry Anderson's "UFO" TV series. I'm going to have to check out this range of figures sometime soon.
ReplyDelete@ Shelldrake I love the Harry Palmer he is one of favorites. I love the pose and the Sterling hes carrying. I have managed to get a load of his films to watch at some point.
ReplyDelete@Lord Siwoc Yes i see what you mean i guess its supposed to be martial artisty if you know what i mean.
@Vampifan I love there figures. I ended up doing some research onto who they are based on as I haven't seen any of the series that there characters are based on some are obvious but things like Captain Scarlet I can remember watching but i couldn't tell you what the story was about.
Thank you all for the kind words. I'm trying to decide at the moment what to paint out the pile O lead
Superb Mate, love the Prisoner character. Top stuff.
ReplyDeleteThese are painted well, and your basing is good too, good to see others getting involved in different projects aswell :)
ReplyDeleteYou know....You could do a small line up of some of your miniatures, and have us followers voting on who next to paint?
ReplyDeletethe prisoner looks great, i love that show
ReplyDeleteThanks Guys. Started undercoating some minions from Crooked Dice last night as well as Herb and agent Ready from Rogue miniatures
ReplyDeleteyou have to paint a number 6 on his little badge :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat work on those lovely figures.
ReplyDeleteLooking good. I really like the super villain in grey. His silenced gun is particularly nice.
ReplyDeleteThe copplestone figure suffers again from looking quite different on the web page. On copplestone's site, he has a beard that appears sculpted on. Here he is clearly babyfaced. It changes the character quite a bit. Not in a bad way, just he looks like a young man rather than a grizzled criminal.
Thanks guys
ReplyDelete@Adam I know what you mean I didn't like the paintjob on the figure on the Copplestone site tbh thats why i went a little different. Plus i want him to fit in as a KGB agent
Great painting, I too like the figure in grey, with his silenced pistol hiding behind his back, very cool!!!
ReplyDeleteGood stuff. I have just done my "man from 2000. I went for a 70s beige suit. Will post soon. Whereabouts do you game? I am based in the Forest of Dean but go to the Worcester club sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI don't game at the moment I've just got back into the hobby. I'm slowly trying to build some various projects up so I can play solo or try and join a club.
ReplyDeleteI go to the Gloucester club and occasionally Worcester. Happy to arrange a game sometime.
