Some more addtions to the zombie masses bringing my total number upto 45. As always with Copplestone figures they where a joy to paint plenty of detail but not to much only one to me seemed to have a dodgy pose the one with the shotgun across his waist is leaning precariously back.
Might have make some special rules that these guys are created at random and drop ammo or guns perhaps when taken out, I'd also thought about having them fire off a burst a fire at random calling more zombies or perhaps dropping a grenade when killed that goes off.
Anyway here's the pics.
Cracking work Simon! They look ace!
ReplyDeleteThanks mate, just had a thought might be able to use em as ghouls for PA gaming
DeleteNicely painted zeds, Simon. You could make them smart zombies who know how to fire a gun and how to use a hand grenade (eeek!!!!!!!).
ReplyDeleteThanks Bryan, Thats another good idea, Apocalypse Z had rules for Zombie soldiers.
DeleteInteresting ideas and excellent paintjobs!
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly sir
DeleteThey are certainly not handsome but the paintwork is great, well done!
ReplyDeleteCheers, The next batch might be more pleaing to the eyes
DeleteForty-five, now that's a good horde. Neat figures here and a great job painting them!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne, Getting there slowly looking forward to seeing the Studio zombies plastics give my horde the next boost.
DeleteExcellent painting Sir! I like the drop a grenade idea, like off of Call of Duty.
ReplyDeleteThanks I take it thats in one of the later games Ray?
DeleteThey look great....Copplestone right? They just have a great line of figs!
ReplyDeleteIndeed Copplestone seems to have figures for most occasions. Thanks
DeleteVery Nice mate. You definately are getting good at churning out good looking models.
ReplyDeleteCheers I have a box full of figs based and undercoated its just a case of picking them out and getting them done
DeleteGood looking group and perfect as PA ghouls, but as z's I'm not so sure.
ReplyDeleteThey will still perform there role as Zeds. I'm not to fussed tbh
DeleteNice work there mate, gore tastic.
ReplyDeleteThanks these where fun to paint once I'd made my mind up about the clothing colour scheme
DeleteNow they fight back?!
ReplyDeleteOh crap!!!!!!
Good work mate
Cheers dude, Hopefully I'll get the strippers finished tonight
DeleteVery nice. I hadn't even realised that Mark Coppleston HAD zombie troopers.
ReplyDeleteThanks, they have plague zombies as well but they look like normal ones to me.
DeleteLoving these Sir, I've completely missed them on the Copplestone site though.
ReplyDeleteCheers, They are on the Future Wars line after all the troopers are listed
DeleteGreat stuff Brummie! You're cracking through the painting in good order!
ReplyDeleteThanks, need to decide on what to do next decisions decisions
DeleteNice job Brummie, they look suitably dead!
ReplyDeleteThanks Scott
Deletecool, I've never seen those models before. Nice work.
ReplyDeleteThey are really nice and variety amongst your zombies is always a good thing
DeleteNice work on the Zeds man, they look good.
ReplyDeleteCheers they all add to the horde.
DeleteNice one mate. Zeveral good ideas there from walking ammo re supplies to dropping grenades. I think I would have a very quick ramndom table for finds including a primed grenade. And leave it to chance.... but that's just me.
ReplyDeleteThanks, thats what I was thinking a quick roll on a chart with a d6 with some good and some interesting outcomes :D
DeleteVery good looking zeds. I'm not a fan of smart zombies, so I probably wouldn't use these as such. I'd just treat them as the undead who haven't realized that they are carrying anything at all.
ReplyDeleteThe grenade one could be fun like that.
Thanks mate, nor me I don't like the idea of smart zombies either.
DeleteExcellent painted figures! The one leaning back is hit by a silver bullet?
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Peter
