This weeks bits and bobs

Sort of been pottering about this week doing this and that. Miniature wise I've been basecoating my Foundry armed N'ver Do wells, the Lycaon (werewolf ) faction for EotD and I've made 8 more trees these still need the leafy bits adding (still undecided how or what to use at the minute).

I had a groovy badge arrive in the post this week courtesy of a really great guy Doctor Warlock over at Pulp City Planet. Its a Department X (7TV, Crooked Dice's latest guide for this faction) Its pretty cool even the letter he stuck in was ace.

The Excellent Badge

The first two finished members of the Lycaon Faction

Dammit just noticed the tiny red spot on the first wolves nose will correct that tonight
I had considered adding Lichen but talking to Mathyoo on facebook he has pointed out they may look a little bit alien looking.

The bases and the 'dirt' have been added just need sealing and painting.

    1. Cheers the pin's really great. I must sort some out of my own to send to people. I'm slowly getting a collection from various bloggers.

  2. Everything looks good. Personally I like my wolves to look less well fed (thinner) but that is the sculps not your painting and only a minor thing.

I perhaps should make some trees and planters as well..... even more to do now. Perhaps I should get on with it and stop looking at blogs . DOH!

    1. Thanks Bryan. The fur was a pain they look like rats at one paint. Just the two werewolves to go next. Different colour scheme I think though

  4. The wolves look great, maybe they could use a wash on their teeth to make them stand out some more?

As for the trees, I'll try and take pictures over the weekend as we got FOW tournament, so you can see how they've made it.

For your trees, I'd go with "clump foliage". Like those

Might end up "too" cartoony for you, perhaps.

I agree, the clump foilage would go best on the trees!

    1. Hopefully will get more work done on them. The idea is I can use them in a city setting as planters etc. I'm going to try and use a neutral colour (dark green most likely) so I can use them for other settings as well.

  10. I really like the tree's as they are. Without the foliage they look like winter or autumn tree's, a lot more evocative of the setting. Nice wolves too.
