Continuing on from Part 1. Both sides have taken casualties Jess, Red Rum and Dixon of the Stour Raiders are knocked unconscious leaving Herb in a bit of a ropey position. Raven and Bran of the Razor's were both cut down in melee and removed from play. At this point during live discussion via facebook we discussed about recovering from injury currently it requires a medic to move into base contact and use an action to revive your team member. The Stour Raider's have no medic...... So we decided that if a team has no medic or the medic is incapacitated. You can test for recovery by rolling2D6 at the start of the turn for each knocked out person on a double 1 they would come round and get back into the fight though this would cost them an action. Obviously if all the team are knocked out it would be game over.

Herb sprints over to where Jess is lying prone on the floor tucking the loot into his belt he grabs Jess under her arms and begins to drag her to safety.
Turn 9

Turn 10

Herb drags Jess of towards base camp.
Scurve moves back upto the central car and scoops up the loot left on the floor next to Redrum.
Turn 11
Turn 11
Scurve hefts his wrench and smacks Red Rum on the head removing him from play then heads off with his plundered loot.
Jess comes to Herb helps her up and she heads for the final loot counter over in the wrecked jeep.
Bear heads to the truck to pick up the last loot counter from it.
Herb gets back to base and drops off his loot.
Turn 12
Bear reaches the truck and Herb heads to try and intercept Bear and prevent him grabbing the last loot counter.
Scurve reaches base camp dropping off another loot counter.
Jess also moves off with another Loot Counter back towards base camp.
Turn 13
Turn 13
Bear sprints off back towards base camp with the final loot counter.
Jess drops off her loot at camp.
Scruve head towards Bear and urges him to get a move on (extra move).
Herb realising that the Razor's are scape retreats back to base camp rather than pursuing them fruitlessly.
Turn 14
Sorry no pics they turned out blurry for some strange reason? Anyhow Razor's one the initiative and got back to there base camp with the final loot counter meaning game ended.
Post Game.
Really enjoyed this game the event cards were a bit unkind this time the ones drawn from the deck just didn't fit in with what was going on. Blanks for the Razors and Medic! cards for the Stour Raider's who didn't have one. But hey you can't pick what cards you draw.
Tallying up the Loot counters collected (they all have there own points values on the back) The razor's Win this game! 85 points of loot they found plus 20 points from removing Red Rum and Dixon for a total of 105points. The Stour Raiders ended up with 30 points of loot plus 20 points from removing Bran and Raven for a total of 50points. The Razor's did snag 6 counters to the Raiders 3 thought they both inflicted the same amount of casualties.
Post game injury results where rolled Red Rum and Raven both rolled full recoveries. Dixon and Bran ended up with minor injuries having to pay 5 points each to be able to play in the next game.
A good result for the Razor's they have plenty of cash to spend. Bran gets gets healed. Scurve gained the walkie talkies skill, Bear gains Charge and a pistol, Raven specialise's in Scout and gains Slippery skills as well as now being equipped with a grenade. A new member is recruited nick named Skud well armed with an SMG, Chain and Grenade.
The Razor's kill a mutated creature. |
The Stour Raider's don't do badly either the have less cash to spend. Dixon gets healed, Herb gains Medic and Physician Heal Thyself skills and they gain a new member called Mad Dog armed with an axe.
Thanks for reading all. Next game maybe sometime this week not checked the schedule yet.
Right then I'm off to the West Midlands Military Show. I'll try and take some pics and do a post in the week about it Ta Ta For Now.
Very nice, I will have to try my hand at the game some time, I all ways wanted to build some post apoc terrain, im thinking the ruined office block building I made last year would fit in well
ReplyDeleteThanks very much. It would indeed fit well. You could use any terrain you have really. Add some lichen to it here and there make it look over grown and nukept and sorted!
DeleteThis is show great for inspiration

Good report and nice figures too - especially like the biker gang. Is that a slug they've scared off in the second last picture? fearsome lot.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Dan
Thanks they are gonna kill it and eat it!
DeleteI did enjoy that report. I can see a lot of potential in this game and will look forward to another AAR when you can get round to it.
ReplyDeleteI'll hopefully get a game in this week all being well. Totally zonked as just got back from WMMS.
DeleteGreat report, Simon! I'll have to post links on the main page and the KS as it shows the after game nicely.
ReplyDeleteThanks no problemo :)
DeleteHard fought as always! Though the raiders lost the game, they did not suffer too much.
ReplyDeleteLooking really nice!
Thanks mate yeah the loot adds a different dynamic to the game rather than just killing everybody. I liked the fact you have to return it your deployment zone.
DeleteAnother wonderful report there Simon and I enjoyed reading this. I am getting a feel for the game
ReplyDeleteThanks PK.
DeleteGood report Simon Enjoy .
ReplyDeleteGreetings .
Thanks Vincent glad you enjoyed it.
DeleteGreat report. This looks a fun game.
ReplyDeleteThanks mate it was a hoot.
DeleteA very good batrep, Simon.
ReplyDeleteVery cool batrep my man. I really like the simple yet effective terrain.
ReplyDeleteCheers Bob. Terrain is going to be my big thing this year. I'm going to give up on the building stuff side of it. I've seen lots of mdf terrain that will look awesome when done up. Will go down that route instead as it was really reasonably priced.
DeleteWonderful looking game - looking forward to your report on the West Midland's show. Best, Dean
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean. Sadly I was so awed at going to my first show I forgot to take hardly any pics the two I did where of some EotD stuff thats not been seen in the flesh and the glass reflect it back :( and they haven't turned out great.
DeleteWill do a loot post as I picked up a few bits and got an awesome gift of a blogger.
As far as the game went, a satisfactory result all round really, whether a win or lose, an enjoyable game is always the winner. Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it the dice could of been quite unkind in the post phase!
DeleteGreat read, I really like the games with post-game section for some reason...feels like there is more to it than just a plain scoring!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward on the show report, too.
Thanks Mathyoo. I'll write a post show report up tonight when I get in.
DeleteGreat bat rep Simon :)
ReplyDeleteThanks mate :)
DeleteLove the bat rep. It is an interesting system, I am looking forward to seeing more of it.
ReplyDeleteYour groups were very well done. I loved the biker gang. Cool selection of figs.
Thanks very much. The bikers where amongst the figures I painted when I rejoined the hobby nearly 3 years ago and these are the first time they've been used in a game.
DeleteYeah, looks great and interesting.
ReplyDeleteYou might have convinced me to buy this.
Awesome. Its a really good deal even just for the basic set. Well worth it IMO of course if you wait until later the price is going to go up and October (hoping theres no delays) really isn't that far away!
DeleteGreat Batrep Simon, thanks for sharing
