That's a bit nice!!! great idea and brilliantly executed. The details are really well thought out. Looks great but is also figure friendly. well done :)
Thanks very much. I prefer figure friendly terrain tbh. if I was doing a display piece perhaps things would be different. The top of the cab comes off as well still so got access inside for multiple minis.
Superb job Simon! Some very nice details dude. You should do well sir.
Thanks i'm really pleased with it. I think I might have a go at doing one with some sort of lighting feature. But that will be one that takes a lot more planning I reckon
Exellent job Simon!
Wonderful stuff Simon. As CW states its both very pleasing to the eye and you can actually do something with it during the game (i.e. figures can actually move on it and through it). Great to see you continuing on with your AtDE scenery - I must crack on with mine at some point.
Thanks dude! Yes functionality is key I think.
Fantastic work mate, in the construction and painting of this project. Kudos. :)
Cheers dude. You will get the opportunity to game on it at some point.
Looking forward to that. :)
Very nice job Simon, I love that road warrior mini, fits very well with ATDA
Cheers I though so to. I think he'll get added to the engineers as an extra grunt type as his attire fits in quite well with there style.
Hola AmigoLo primero me encanta tu foto de avatar,es una peli que me encanta y as elegido una de mis escenas preferidas.Y el trabajo que as echo con el terreno MAGNIFICOun saludo
Hi J.D thanks yes its one of my favourite movies as well.
Very cool looking piece! Nice use of derelict Vick . the details and debris are really nice!
Cheers David. derelict Vick?
Ha! Military slang creep...Vicks- vehicles, packs- persons. At least my kids know what I'm saying! ;)
That is a fantastic piece! Really evocative!
Thanks Gordon. I hope to get some more skeletons at some point and start adding them to my scenery especially the most post apoc themed ones.
they're all ready for the apocalypse!
Indeed they are all geared up and ready to go!
I am very impressed with this, Simon. What a great piece of post apoc scenery. The inclusion of the Mad Max figure was an inspired choice.
Thanks Bryan. I had dug him out to see how well he would fit with the engineers for a friend and he matches quite well. So I though why not lets have some picks with the wanderer of the wasteland.
Superbly done, Simon. Your work on terrain is only matched by your equally impressive brushwork on your character figures. And you do it all ahead of schedule.
Cheers Dean there will be plenty of character figures this month from a lot of sources :)
Very well done, Simon. Great terrain piece. Works well with any of the various factions on display here.
Cheers Finch. I wanted it to be faction neutral so it can fit in as a normal terrain piece.
Love this beautiful and atmospheric job, great details Simon!
Thanks very much Phil.
Excellent piece of scenery. If the other entries are as good it will be a tremendous competition.
Thanks. Theres are some corkers I shall have to share some.
Marvelous work, very fitting for the game.
Looks the biz Simon, nice work!
Cheers Ray :)
I think this is your best terrain yet Simon! It looks great and it is very playable all the fire rests guarantee hat this base camp will be coveted terrain in a game.
Thanks Robert yes I am really pleased with it. I hope so its not got full 360 cover but that was intentional. It can still be flanked.
Nice bit of scenery there Simon and it looks the biz. You are making some lovely terrain pieces
Cheers Pete. Getting there hoping to be able to fill a 4x4 or 3x3 table by the end of the year.
Long time no speak, dude. This looks terrific. Great job.
Indeed hows it going? Thank mate.
Good thanks, mate. Just really busy with uni. Getting some prep done for Safe house though so will get posting again soon.
Looks great mate, awesome work!
Absolutely wonderful work indeed!
Cheers Suber :)
Great looking scenc Brummie, hard to think it started out as a cheap red plastic truck!
Thanks though there isn't a lot of it left lol.
I love it!
lol Glad you like it mate.
Another fantastic post apocalyptic terrain piece.
Thanks very much Sean :)
Great terrain painting Simon ... is it just me or does that final figure look like Nathan Drake of Uncharted?
Thanks very much! Quite similar but not quite :) I think he resembles someone from down under.
That's awesome Simon, It's got a touch of comic book about it too.A bit of something from nothing!
