Raiders!!!

More Post Apocalyptic goodness this week. Clearing down the paint table of a few lingering miniatures. I got a bit lost with the colour scheme for these two. Finally made my mind up and simplified it and got them finished. Both will be part of Raider bands for This is not a Test, Across the Dead Earth and well anything else that requires raider/savage types.

Working on some more Raiders at the moment. From EM4 this time waiting on a package of Wreckage figures to arrive from a trade I did can't wait!

  1. Haven't been keeping up here but good to see you're still cranking out good work. I especially like the first guy, the archer, and how you've done the shading for the armour sections on his chest. Nice mix of low tech armour and a fancy bow - reminds me of someone you'd meed in one of the SM Stirling Change novels.
I also like the new masthead art - nice to see that pointed bras survived the apocalypse. ;)
    Cheers,
    Michael

    1. Thanks the Wreckage stuff is quite a broad variety. These are from two different factions really the Drifters (the archer) and the Stakers (Long rifle) Both sort of play different roles one is sort of a scout while the archer one is like a chieftain.

    2. Well, as a sniper it would be nice if you could blend in the environment.
But instead of wearing camouflage or muted colours she is wearing bright blue trousers and coloured her hair pink.
She would be spotted almost immediately :).

  14. Very cool figures, Simon. Their ad hoc armor reminds me of some of the gear worn during the recent Ukrainian riots.
