Copplestone Security Minions

Just been picking figures out at random from the painting table mainly whilst I research how to fur for my Empire of the Dead Lycaon faction. Finished off two packs of Copplestone Casting KKBB range Guards in hard hats and Guards in berets all armed with SMG's these will boost the ranks of my security force to 20. The Guards in Beret's will be used as squad leaders and to mark them out they had a silver patch badge add to there left arm. Again these guys will double as Vault dweller for security in any PA games I have as well as perhaps for hunting zombies who knows! Anyway onto the pictures first up the Squad leaders.

Group shot of all my  Security / Vault Dwellers

  1. These look great, I love the little touches like the numbers and shoulder flashes.

    For fur try this; http://paintbard.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/dire-wolf-aka-fenris-wolf.html

I used it for my wolves and was pretty pleased with how they turned out!

  4. Nice work mate. Always good to get some extra use from figures. No Reason not to use them against zombies. And to rteply to your reply on Adams comment.... You can never have enough Zombies!

    1. Thanks Clint, These guys are very much multi use hence the Fallout Vault Tech uniforms the can then double as Post apocalyptic, Security for various settings etc.

I need more zombies period I have 30 Mantic plus 8 random Moderns painted and ready to game with. But from my batrep I noticed how big the dice grave got quite quickly and I was only using pistols and rifles.

SMG's have a much higher rof and there for add more dice. Yikes!

  5. Nice, it's always good to have a selection of generic goons! So, do you have some post-apocalypse vault terrain and "civilian" inhabitants, or is that for the future? I'm asking because I keep thinking about making a vault/icecap militaty base/space hulk myself, but have never got round to it :-( .

  10. As mentioned above...Very nice painting!

You know...I do not think you can have too many minions. They die too easily when a hero comes knocking at the front door!!!

  13. Those hard hats should keep the zombies out their brains, or low vault ceilings from giving them an unintended buzz-cut. I really like the look of these, I may have to pick up some Copplestone figures.
