7TV Pandora King MKII

Not satisfied with my first attempt with this lovely figure. The release of Hugo Solomon and Pandora King in a pack together gave me the excuse to pick up another Pandora. Decided to stick with the black cat suit this time and had a lot of fun painting her up. Grrrr eyes I really hate eyes!!!!!!!!!!!

    I really like this paint scheme on her. I have never liked the figures stance though and that has put me off. Which takes nothing away from how she has been painted.

      Thanks Clint, I've thought of about 3 other conversions for this figures, but all involve reposing the arms.

    The black looks good. I have a bugger of a time with it. I know eyes are a pain in the arse to do, but I will spend a good hour on them as the personality of the character is ultimately in those eyes.

      Thanks Anne, I just give it two coats of black, drybrush with grey, add a lighter highlight of grey to the raised bits then wash it with Badab black to dull the highlights slightly.

    Great work there Brummie. I don't mind eyes, but I hate painting black. Worse yet, I keep choosing to do so!

    Nice job Simon, love the catsuit, very 'Austin Powers'...

    Eyes can be tricky to get right, and looking at the models her's are quite small too, and it can be even more troublesome getting females eyes right as you end up wanting to add a touch of make up too, but you have to be ever so subtle with it otherwise they end up looking like a clown! ;-)
