Hasslefree Jess


Got Hasslefree Jess finished over a couple of evening this week. My Post Apocalyptic mojo is working at the moment so really enjoyed painting her up. Completely different to the first time I painted her as due the varnish incident I had required her to be stripped and started again. One thing I've found painting 15mm figures it really makes it easier to paint 28mm figures after lol!

We'll be seeing more of her as I have plan's to user as the leader of one of my fledgling gangs for Across the Dead Earth which by the way is one week off from the kickstarter beginning on the 1st March I can't wait really looking forward to!

    I remember when you first posted her, and thought back then she looked great. It's remarkable to see the difference in your painting and level of detail on the new version, beautiful paint job mate.

      Thanks Dave, I can't help but think how lazy I was last time with her body the first time round painting on sleeves rather than skin and not painting the bracer.

      Thanks very much Fred. Yeah I'm looking at some my older not so great paint jobs and thinking I could strip and repaint that better!

      Thanks Suber. I love most Post Apoc settings and its nice to enjoy one set in the UK for a change it gives you much more background to add to it.

    Jess was one of the first Hasslefree figures I bought and painted and even to this day, she remains a favourite of mine. I love your new version of Jess. Nice one, Simon!

      Thanks very much Hugh. When I compare the two pictures before and after I really don't know what the hell I was thinking the first time round. Guess It shows I was a bit of a can't be arsed mood or something.
