Titanium Dropship 2014 entry

Well the pics went up on the Dropship Horizon page today of my entry for the Titanium Dropship 2014 painting competitions. No winners have been announced as yet. 

Here are the pics of my Entry with a few extra I took.
My Blurb to go with the Entry

The Hunters of Nta'Mek-ta
"A pack of blooded hunters led by Nta'Mek-Ta (The Silent Stalker in Yautja language). These figures are part of a larger Aliens Vs Predator project which wil eventually will have the Corporation, Marines,  Aliens and of course the Predators which will probably have a few more hunter packs.

Miniatures are all Khurasan apart from the Yautja hunting falcon which I sculpted myself. Didn't get the ship finished in time but it will do as background for the pics."













My Predator Falcon sculpt simple shaped putty the rest is done by the paintjob. I'm quite pleased really.

    Nice paintwork sir. Are these 15 mm? Way too small for me, I struggle with 28 mm.

      Thanks Bob yes they are you have to use different thinking when painting them. I have to add it has improved by painting greatly.

    good work on these. I love the 15mm sci fi games. I liked your aliens and I like your predators. with scenery as well it should be a great looking game.

    Great work. What differences in technique did you use when painting them? My 15s look a bit shoddy.

      Thanks. Tricky to explain it was kind of less is more if you know what I mean.

      undercoat, base, wash all over in dark tone, highlight but the highlights are more vibrant than the base if you know what I mean.

      Thanks Mate. It works quite well. The Hounds I've chickened out on for now. I need a smaller drill bit and I think Green Stuff would be better than milliput.

    Look for "Get to the Chopper" on boardgame geek, its a set of rules to play "Predator".
