Couple more figures completed off the paint table this week that have been lingering there for far to long. First up is an unnamed department X agent for when extra characters or small missions require a lesser well known person to take part.
The second is another squaddie in civvies ready to join up with the rest of my agents. Toting a Sterling smg he adds a bit more firepower to the undercover operatives that I already have done.
Have been slowly going through my Spy Fi collection adding in eyes and touching up some of my older paint jobs. I don't fancy re-painting them all from scratch so adding eyes that I was to scared to seems to have worked well.
The Wild Ducks are now no longer blinking from the flash!
Well done, nice paintjob and great pictures!
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Phil!
DeleteTremendous job there Simon. Some very very nice painted figures.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Clint more Across the Dead Earth figures in bound as well as some project zeke figures :)
DeleteLovely job dude! Cracking selection of figures.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Bob ;)
DeleteGreat work mate... the dept X agents looks like the come from the 70s ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks mate. They are exactly for that era :D
DeleteMy word, you've been busy Simon - these look amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michael had a fai bit of free time this week.
DeleteVery nice - a great collection and the vehicles add to it.
ReplyDeleteDan
Thanks Dan the vehicles are awesome I wish I could snag some more at some point.
DeleteThey all look much better. Great work, Simon.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bryan
DeleteNice additions and good work with the updates. It is the small things that can often be enough to 'finish' a mini in a satisfying way. Well done for going back to them mate. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks dude. I am a bit more confident with doing those niggly bits now so seems like a good opportunity just to finish them off properly.
DeleteThey look all really great,; you're a brave man going back to improving figures that I would have beenmore than happy with in their original state.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joe. I can understand that. I've had to resist the urge to strip them and start again and there in lies madness lol
DeleteThey all look great - I like the first guy - he looks so 70's!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean. The exact look I was going for.
DeleteI love the 'vault' colour scheme on the last bunch. Awesome sauce.
ReplyDeleteCheers dude yes they started out as a small vault themed force for dual purposes but kind of expanded a bit
DeleteGreat collection, Simon.
ReplyDeleteThe Dept. X boys get sports cars while their opposite numbers get stuck with delivery vans? No wonder KGB types are always in a foul mood. (BTW: I think the one van's logo features a kid rolling a body up in a carpet mafia-style.)
Thanks. I know right its all this incognito stuff its why bond always ends up captured in the movies.
DeletePeter Wyngarde! Love these! Really nice job!
ReplyDeleteIndeed he is. Thank you sir!
DeleteA great looking collection of minis Simon
