Mantic Announced a new game up for pre order this week. Called 'Here's Negan'
LINK. Its a standalone game which has the same scale figures in it as its Walking Dead All out War game. But uses different rules and is more of a board game/dungeon crawler than a skirmish game like AoW.
However f you
Pre Order it before November's release date you get stat cards for the normal Walking Dead All out War game for the 5 Lieutenant's the new game contains.

The game itself is quite a cool concept really. Basically it is set before all the fighting in the comics Between Rick's group, The Kingdom etc and has Negan and his other Saviours clearing out the Sanctuary to inhabit it and take over. Essentially a sort of dungeon crawler. It has randomly selected tiles and the event deck shakes things up so no game will ever be the same. You can't play as Negan however he still is active in the game as he is controlled by his own deck. You need play as one of his lieutenants and it is your job to impress the main man and earn his favour. It seems fun and uses the same zombie sculpts as the main game so I'm off to a head start for painting figures to play it.
I am still way behind with all painting all my stuff I got last year in October only having finished a dozen or so figures. I also vowed not to buy any more sets for it which I have stuck to though I realise I need to pull my finger out and get to a show and pick up this years event booster set before it changes at the end of the Year!

Oops had removed a row to start work but as you can see I only got the top and bottom rows painted. There is another tray underneath this one with the barricades, cars and supply markers as well as another 8 walkers which I need to paint.

So in order to catch up on both painting and collecting the figures I have cracked on this week. Firstly cleaning up and scraping up all the mold lines off the figures that game in the kickstarter edition of the game.I took a box to work with my scalpel and glasses and whilst in between jobs during the day sat in the car and cleaned a few figures at a time finishing them Thursday afternoon.

I then spent Friday night and this morning and putty and texturing the bases on them all and finally got them spray primed tonight.

I plan to split them into there booster sets that you would get individually so I can paint them hopefully without burning myself out to much.
Not sure which to set to start off with. I may do the Walker booster first as it gives me more zombies to start playing the game with over the six weeks holidays with the kids.
