Star Wars Legion Han Solo

Finishing off some random stuff on my paint table. Han just needed the belt/holster base coated then washes and highlighting so was a quick one to get finished off. I must admit his coat was tricky to decide on what to do as when you google photos of his Endor outfit the colours really vary depending on what you look at!

The pose is even harder to photograph!

Star Wars Rebel ATRT

Something Else I have been working on in July is this ATRT or All Terrain Recon Transport from the Star Wars Legion Core set. I am quite pleased to finish this model as this means I have painted all the Rebel half of the core set. This comes with 3 weapon options but in game terms only what card you have equipped matters as its not WYSIWYG. I did try to magnetise it but failed miserably and gave up after the second attempt. I have a second one which I bought really cheap off ebay and I am going to try and magnetise this one as well but will do it during assembly as my attempt on the first one was thwarted by gluing in the forward shield (my impatience in waiting for the magnets to arrive I assembled it thinking it would be quite easy to do!) I think I will have better success doing it this time around but

I really enjoyed doing this one I got it started I did a bit of experimentation with only washing creases and using drybrushing, sponges to create weathering. The bases are still all basic as I am not sure exactly how I want to

Star Wars Legion Rebel Infantry Part 2

More Star Wars Legion this time the other half of my Rebel Infantry finished completing the two squads you get in the Core set. I had planned on doing the ATRT and Han Solo, Chewie and Luke but there is a 7TV Day in mid June I want to use as an excuse to get some other stuff done out the leadpile.

The two unit leaders (I finished the left one in the first batch)

Two Duros Troopers not sure which blue skin I prefer. But tried to make them different tones.

Z6 Rotary Blaster Cannon Troopers main staple weapon of Rebel Infantry Squads. I made perhaps the error of doing the right hand one with a pale sand jacket when his gloves also need to be pale sand to match the squad.
MPL-57 Troopers (anti armour weapons.) I convert the left one slightly by just repostioning the head. I think it works ok.

First Rebel Squad. These guys have pale sand gloves/Padding on the Duros and the ochre helmet band.

Second squad green helmet bands to match the uniforms and ochre gloves and padding on the Duros.

All my  Rebel minis painted so far. Two Core units. One Special Forces and Commander and Operatives. I still need one more Core unit but don't fancy more Rebel Infantry purely for variety reasons. I think I may go down the 3D print route for more of those or at least invest in some alternative heads for them. I am tempted by Fleet Troopers I think most of all.

Star Wars Legion K2S0

Finally got my new work phone so catching up with photos of stuff finished and getting them posted. Here we have K2S0 reprogrammed Imperial Droid serving with Cassian Andor. Love the character of this droid such humor in Rogue One as well. I am excited for the Cassian Series they are doing on Disney Plus. K2S0 still needs the markings for his shoulders they are on there way after the seller resent them as they must of got lost from when I ordered them in January!

Copplestone Bikers, Copplestone Bio Chem Squad, Hasslefree Lady Soldiers Completed

Finished most my WIP this week. They need to be based but that will be done the weekend.

Really really enjoyed painting the bikers. Going to get some more from EM4 and Maybe Black Cat Bases Screaming Nighthawks Gang.

These Copplestone Bio Chem troopers where easier to paint than I thought the first ones  I have painted in ten years.

My lovely Hasslefree Lady Soldiers and my WIP Dionne got to finish her hair and guns. Going to be used as Elite Zombie Hunters or Corporate hit squad or anything else I can think of.....

Please any critism, hints or tips would be great.

Edited........... I have changed the Bio Chem picture as I hadn't realised I cut off a hand and a weapon on the previous picture

Progress Update with a Piccie

Here we have my Copplestone Future Wars Pack FW5 Bikers.

The three at the rear are finished apart from basing and giving them a layer of varnish.

The front two and my random bid which won me a Foundry Street Violence Figure with an M60 type gun. Skins finished just layering the clothing on. (I think he fits in quite well).

Hoping to have them all painted by the weekend. Can't decide what to do with base there gonna just gave sand added as a texture but not sure on what colour yet.

Ha and I just realised my dog is asleep on sofa in background.
