Brummie's 20 Questions

Seeing all these interesting responses from the various blogs that I follow I though I'd have a go and stick my two pence in.


1.        Favourite Wargaming period and why?
It Would have to be Zombie/Post Apocalyptic Skirmish's. I love Zombie movies, Zombie Fiction. Deathlands series by James Axler is just brilliant especially the audiobooks. I have a thing about survivors standing alone fending off all the world can throw at them.






2.       Next period, money no object?
 I'd guess this would be sci-fi 15mm Probably an Aliens (books) themed games big monstrous research base. Full size Sulaco.  There is so many fantastic figures and vehicles about at the moment.

3.       Favourite 5 films?
 Sherlock Holmes (recent one)
Predator
Aliens
Dawn of The Dead (original)
 Terminator
4.       Favourite 5 TV series?
The Walking Dead
Jericho
Lost (well until they took sky away from cable)
Doctor Who (recently become a fan of this)
 Can only think of 4 ????

5.       Favourite book and author?
Tough very Tough It would have to be any of the Deathlands Books by James Axler but also J.R.R Tolkiens the Hobbit and all the Lord of The Rings books.

6.       Greatest General? Can’t count yourself!!
No Idea does Churchill or Lord Lovat count?

7.       Favourite Wargames rules?
Can't really comment on this properly  yet learning 7TV, Empire of the Dead and No More Room In Hell.  Out of the three 7TV is probably my favourite so far.

8.       Favourite Sport and team?
Not really into sports to be honest, Does Gladiators count? Has to be Jet

9.       If you had a only use once time machine, when and where would you go?
hmmm tough one. Future a 100yrs just to see how things would be.

10.   Last meal on Death Row?
Mums Spaghetti Bolognaise and Garlic bread with a bottle of Hobgoblin and Apple Crumble and custard to finish

11.    Fantasy relationship and why?
Kate Beckinsale. just because she gorgeous and wears leather in underworld


12.   If your life were a movie, who would play you?
Brad Pitt


13.   Favourite Comic  Superhero?
 Not Really into Comics quite Like Gambit from the X-Men


14.   Favourite Military quote?
I really can't think of any
15.   Historical destination to visit?
 The Pyramids of Giza

16.   Biggest Wargaming regret?
Giving it up in 2000 and selling it all a big WTF moment now.

17.   Favourite Fantasy job?
I'd like my own model shop/internet cafe


18.   Favourite Song Top 5?
Guns N Roses 'Live and Let Die'
The Prodigy 'Breathe'
Queen 'Its a Kinda Magic'
Bon Jovi 'Livin on a Prayer'

19.   Favourite Wargaming Moment?
Completing my first miniature last year that was painted and based properly. I never used to paint my figures back in the day
20.   The miserable Git question, what upsets you?
Bad Driving, PPI and other dumbass automated phone calls. Stupid computer operated phone systems that no matter how hard you try that you can't get through to someone real.

  2. These are a very insightful set of questions and the answers given by different bloggers have been very entertaining. Good man for choosing Romero's Dawn of the Dead film in your top five favourite films. It's number one in my top five.

    Peter Kay quote - "Garlic bread? You mean bread with garlic in it? Garlic bread!" It still makes me laugh!
