Cor this week has been busy and I've really had to knuckle down and make myself spend time getting these done. Its been worth it even just getting one or two steps done at at time has allowed me to get the painting finished yesterday and then varnished/tufts etc added this morning.

Nicely done Simon, I find my time slips by so fast as well. Hope to get some quiet painting time this afternoon to get next weeks post figures done!
ReplyDeleteThanks Terry. Yes especially when feeling a tired out. The mojo is hard to keep pushing then.
DeleteTerrific post, Simon. Those St. Searle's girls are superb sculpts and together, they make a very effective fighting force.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bryan! I am looking forward to using them in 7TV though they now have stat cards for Street Wars as well!
DeleteAwesome work as always Simon!
ReplyDeleteThanks sir!
DeleteExcellent work Simon! I wish I could paint survivors as nicely. I have to mainly stick to zeds to have figures that look half way decent. I finally got some done for Zomtober and I just posted them https://the-quick-and-the-zed.blogspot.com/2018/10/zomtober-week-3-late-to-party.html
ReplyDeleteThank you very kindly! I shall check it out.
DeleteGreat group shot!
ReplyDeleteCheers Fran! Hopefully I can get the next 3 done and get a final group shot of 12 for the final weekend!
DeleteExcellent Simon I'really love these models :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Frank. They are really nice sculpts aren't they!
DeleteIt's getting better and better!
ReplyDeleteCheers Skully!
DeleteSpiffing young man,
ReplyDeleteThese Zomtober posts seem to be fizzing by, Simon, and I'm missing loads clearly!! Excellent paint-work on these three young ladies :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks very much mate. This month seems to be going very quick indeed.
DeleteWell done.
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil!
DeleteThey look great...and angry...and hungry...Very nice job!
ReplyDeleteLol thanks Phil! Hungry eh? Better get them toasted marshmallows or something!
DeleteExcellent work mate; the whole cast looks superb. :)
ReplyDeleteCheers dude. Getting there just 3 more to go :)
DeleteVery nice work Simon.
ReplyDeleteCheers Ray!
DeleteExcellent Simon! Cricket bats as weapons, brilliant 😀
ReplyDeleteThanks Ivor! Not cricket bats matey. Hockey Sticks and a baseball bat lethal I tells ya!
DeleteCool again, the group is growing!!
ReplyDeleteCheers Suber steadily but surely!
DeleteLove the girls! This theme is awesome fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks fella! It has been different todo thats for sure.
DeleteSearles girls, coming togethe rnicely and they do look like a force to be reckoned with.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joe. I hope so. They have some fun rules and depending on who you have as a Star slightly different play styles.
DeleteGreat stuff as always!
ReplyDeleteCheers buddy :D
DeleteGreat paint work and an awesome survivor theme. Inspirational!
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly and welcome to the blog!
DeleteWell, it's not quite the entire school (or so I suppose), but that looks like enough figures for a 7TV cast...
ReplyDeleteYep enough for a small 30ish rating cast. It could probably do with some more sixth form girls but that is whats being worked on next.
DeleteExcellent the figures and the painting. Hope there are more of these.
ReplyDeleteThanks Vagabond just 3 more to go for this one. I am contemplating some other models for the teachers etc
DeleteGreat looking lady warriors - love the weapons - reminds me of a Dacian falx. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean. Yeah they are very stylish
DeleteThey're looking brilliant. Do you have plans for staff members?
ReplyDeleteThanks mate. I have plans for a couple that are multi purpose figures if you know what I mean. CookE is the one I am drawing a blank on currently
DeleteMy birthday trip got in the way of my painting goals for this past weekend. I hope to sort that out in the next night or two.
ReplyDeleteTHese ladies look great mate. Clearly older than the past ones you've posted up. 6th Formers?
Cheers Dai. Yes they are bigger and sixth formers. It is my own birthday this coming weekend for the final Zomtober weekend. I've had to pull out all the stops this week to get the final 3 finished.
DeleteI can honestly say this is the first time I've seen field hockey sticks on figurines and they look great. Superbly painted too.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much. I recommend watching the St Trinian's movies it will explain much. I do love the look of the whole group armed with them.
